Always love coming to Bahama breeze. I got the veggie tacos, which uses the base for their veggie burger but in taco form. I also always gotta get their fries because they're always perfectly crisp and seasoned. We sat outside but not fully outside it was near the bar and the window-like garage doors were down so we got the sunshine but not the heat. Also got the ultimate Pina colada.

The whole vibe and ambience is really fun and inviting. Our server, Caden gave us excellent recommendations and provided great service. The grilled fish was delicious and a beautiful presentation.

Tried again, had a much better meal this time around! Everything was fresh and I appreciated that! We were a large group of 12 this time around, our server handled the group very well, drinks were always filled, food came out correct and in a timely manner. The jerk pasta is my top favorite!

The food was great, especially for a chain restaurant. Service was pretty quick and our server was very helpful, even giving suggestions on what sides to order with each meal. The atmosphere is lovely, as it is all decorated to fit the tropical theme. My Bahama Mama drink was delicious and pretty strong! The salmon was cooked perfectly and I loved the combination of flavors. It's a bit pricey, but overall a pretty good experience!

1.) Crab and three cheese dip I really didn't care for it at all. It was fresh but it just wasn't for me. Hard to eat & overall taste wasn't very satisfying 3/10 2.) Jamaican jerk chicken The chicken, sauce and rice was good but the beans were just ehh. 5/10 3.) lobster and shrimp linguine It was fresh as everything else was. The shrimp was the best part, the sauce didn't have much flavor in my opinion but overall it was okay. 7/10 4.) Yuca cheese sticks I would go back just for these! The sauce was delicious. 8/10 Service was great, our server was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. Makes you feel like you're on a mini vacay. I recommend for the experience, maybe just try different entree options.

We stopped in to Bahama breeze in Gainesville because we have stopped here before and enjoy the experience and food. We walked in with our three kids and asked for a table on the patio because we wanted fresh air. It was at 1:45 PM so the lunch rush was over and we looked outside and there were plenty of tables available. They had multiple four top, six top, high tops and approximately half the patio was still available. We asked for a highchair for our little kid and she said no there are no seats available outside that can fit you. We gave her a little push back and said to check again because we saw so many available. She completely lied to us for a reason I am not sure.. Another host had came over to seat us and gave us a place in the patio and was super nice. Our waiter was really good and friendly, and the food was mediocre. She was still there when we left, she turned her back so that she would not have to look at us as we left the restaurant. We will probably not come back to the restaurant for quite a while. There are so many other options available definitely customer service is Key!

Our food was really good. I ordered the salmon tostada salad. If ordered again, I would just eat the salad without the dressing because it was overall too salty between the salsa and chimichurri on top of it. Very tasty though. The virgin Bahama Rita was really good. Our server was very nice and super helpful.

I spent about $100 on two entrees and two appetizers for a to go order, and it wasn't just "not…read morethat good", it was honestly terrible and inedible. One of the worst meals I've had in the last 2 years here in Gainesville. The whole chicken was burnt and so dehydrated it was inedible. It was missing the fries it was supposed to come with, and the salad was missing half its ingredients (see pics). The ceviche was extremely fibrous and chewy, clearly made with low quality fish that should never be used for ceviche. The lomo saltado was overcooked, and the nearly $20 calamari came with about 12 small, dried out pieces that looked nothing like the advertised photo (again, see pic, it's laughable). Here's the real reason I'm leaving this review, not just because the food was bad, but because of how it was handled. When I called to request a replacement or even a refund, I was told the food was "fresh" and that the chicken was dry because it was a rooster, despite it being completely inedible. First of all - it literally says chicken, and they usually rotisserie young chickens, pretty sure they use roosters only in stews because the meat is tough. I was also told they don't give refunds because they serve fresh food and the food I got was fine. To make it even more confusing, she then said maybe I could come in "now" for a replacement. When I pointed out that they close at 6, she said yes they do, put me on hold, and then repeated that I could maybe come in today for a replacement, but that there was no one there to cook the food so she's not sure how I would get my food today. So how exactly would that work? The entire conversation made no sense and only made the situation worse. Then she just told me she's unable to do anything for me. I never leave negative reviews, but this genuinely pissed me off. I've been eating Peruvian food for over 20 years, it's one of my favorite cuisines and this was unacceptable in both quality and customer service. How about this for an idea: If you're about to close and can't serve fresh food, stop taking orders. Don't send out what tastes like old, dried out leftovers. I would not recommend.

We ordered the whole chicken. This is nice bc it's already cut up for both of us. We also ordered tostones and salad which comes with it. I made it like a tostada and stacked the chicken and lettuce on top with their sauce which was so to die for. I was really happy I was singing. I do that sometimes when I get excited for my food. Don't ask lol! Haven't found such wonderful Peruvian chicken in a while. This was great. Place is not fancy and it's old and stuff in the back. That's ok bc the service and the food is great. Same plaza as other stores such as Home Depot.

I went there to give them a second chance since I had previously tried them about a year ago and I thought the food was not good back then, but maybe since they have been open long enough, maybe it was that one thing I had. Well I was wrong, I ordered just some appetizers, not even a full meal or anything and they took almost an hour to bring it out!! I didn't even eat, what a waste of money and energy to go there. Terrible experience, I don't recommend the headache to anyone, it's just not worthy. Unfortunately.

Usually you have a "favorite" side and a "meh" side, but here, every single one was a star in its own right. The selection of Beers was outstanding! I had a starter of what was billed as Chupe De Pollo, (chicken chowder), it had very thick broth and was chocked full of chicken. Chicken breast was used and although there was a lot it was very dry and the broth was more like a heavy veloute. It also did not have much flavor. I won't be ordering that a again. My wife and I had Empanadas, mine was shredded beef and hers shredded chicken. I could have used a bit more sauce for dipping. The shell was quite crisp but not greasy. But all and all it was good. Our friend had the vegetarian arepas and let me taste some, it was quite good. She finished the whole dish! We also shared the loaded fries which came out hot with an interesting sauce drizzled over it. We didn't have the bacon on it as our friend is vegetarian. That would have made it even better for me. All in all it was a fun experience and we'll be going back.
