Legitimately I feel that we were lied/ deceived by them. We were looking at purchasing two fans and…read morethe canopy for the fans wasn't available in the same color as the drop rod we were getting. An employee we were working with told us that he would paint it to match the drop rod. We were then later called and given the option to buy a canopy in the same color for an additional $30 per canopy. My wife reminded them they had already offered to paint them for us. They then did not return calls. We then called them back and they told us they would be willing to paint them if we brought them the paint and then they would charge us a 50$ labor fee. We had to pay for the fans in advance and with a restocking fee we'd lose money to return them. We purchased them with the understanding that they were going to match the colors. I'd prefer to shop local when I can despite finding the fans cheaper online. However, I will not shop here again because of the dishonesty. It feels that they took our money and then changed the terms. They are helpful in person and seem knowledgeable about their products. It's always nice to be able to see in person before you buy it. Given the restocking fee and deceptive practices I would recommend buying online or another local store.

They let us wander through the back room, (inside and out of the cold) filled with lots of different types of lumber boards, exotic or local, to make our choices. They also have small shaped parts for toys or doll houses. We saw a selection of some beautiful large slabs for when we decide to make our dream DR table. The guys were laid back, but ever-helpful, offering expert advice if we needed it. They cut the boards we picked to fit our car. Joseph even provided us with a tip for a great place for lunch (Black Sheep Burgers in Springfield).
