I've eaten baguettes, cakes and coffees from this little gem in Caldicot and have never been disappointed. The baguettes are fleshly prepared for you by friendly staff who are more than happy to "tweak" your order just the way you like it. The coffee is good (and about the cheapest in the town) and the cakes fresh and delicious. The premises have been recently renovated to a very high standard and "sitting in" with a newspaper, coffee and cake is always a pleasant experience - never feeling rushed, always warmly welcomed. Overhearing the friendly "banter" between staff and regular customers (I reckon most people visit regularly, which is always a good sign!), you can tell the staff enjoy working there and customers enjoy eating there!
For good, wholesome, no nonsense brunching, I think this is the best option in the village. read more
