I *needed* a replacement immediately--I had a lot of stuff to transport, but I also wanted to avoid a sudden, significant expense, since I was visiting from the US. So, I took a chance with the Luggage Centre, not knowing exactly what I would get since I wasn't visiting a brick and mortar store. First impression: they were super responsive (even though I contacted them at night!), helpful, and very informative. Prices were very reasonable, too. Second impression: I was impressed that they delivered as quickly as they did and in a location that worked well for me. Third impression: the luggage was exactly as described and came with a 15 year warranty! I got a hard-shell expandable case with 8 360-degree turning wheels, and a TSA approved luggage lock. After 3 plane trips (2 within Europe, and 1 from Europe back to the States with a layover in very wintry conditions), 2 long train rides, and walks over cobblestoned streets, the bag has held very well. What I really like, too, is that is its unique coloring makes it easy to identify on the luggage carousel. I am very happy I found them--wholeheartedly recommend The Luggage Centre and would entrust them with any of my luggage needs!

If you are a handbag lady, this shop is for you as it stocks a range of colours, styles and prices. I'm a one bag girl, but now I'm going to get a little black number to use with my black coat. There are small backpacks - the type school children use for as little as £5. The beach bags/summer shoppers are varied and some are so pretty and feminine. But wait, there was more. Not only was the item in question far cheaper than I had expected, but when I went to the till to pay, I was informed that it was "buy one get one free" on everything in the shop. Everything! So, as it turned out, Domo managed to not only save Christmas, but also grant me a brand new laptop bag, completely free of charge. So there you have it - get down to Domo and bag yourself a bargain. I pointed this out to the store supervisor but she wasn't interested in that. She just kept saying well you have had it a year. Needless to say I did not get a refund but then knowing how they deal with returns I was not expecting one. Whilst I am on the subject I find the staff on the concession counters abysmal, they might a well have a do not disturb sign around their neck.

The store can be quite chaotic at times and I find that whatever the spray their clothes with brings me out in a rash (sensitive skin!) so I tried not to spend a long time browsing the clothes sections. The kitchen dept. is pretty large doing some really unique cutlery, place mats and odds n bobs. At christmas time it also sells alot of christmas decorations and candy goods etc. The staff are helpful and their are quite a few tills which is good as it can be quite busy. The goods are cheaper than most other department stores and so for that reason alone are worth a browse!
