However, I still got the message the night before that the movers will be coming in the morning. I called and contacted customer service multiple times about this situation but the driver still showed up early in the morning while I was not at the property. They unilaterally CANCELLED my delivery and slapped me with a $200 cancellation fee. To make matters worse, they told me I couldn't even attempt to reschedule for another 48 hours, leaving me without my essential items. Their customer service is a joke--they promised me they would call me back on updates but THEY NEVER DID!! This is predatory behavior. They ignore their customers' requests and just to collect cancellation fees. If you value your time and your money, DO NOT USE CLUTTER. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and disputing the charge with my bank. Absolute nightmare experience.

The hotel staff is truly special as I felt like I was checking into a boutique hotel rather than a chain. Hyatt has that about it and The Shay exemplifies how to make you feel like your stay is important. Rebecca, one of the Guest Service Hosts had me smiling from the time I arrived till the day I left with her delightful persona and caring demeanor. Carmela and Luther were also cheerful, warm and just the sweetest people. There are two restaurants at the hotel and Zaytinya is its Mediterranean draw. Our room was upgraded to the pent house and i feel the design of the penthouse was better than the regular rooms. So i will give that tip to hotel design to treat all rooms fair ! I don't know how it could have gone any better. In fact, the only thing that was damaged was a table top I scratched myself unpacking. One more thing. I had a few heavier / bulkier items that needed to be brought up a spiral staircase to a loft space in LA - including the 55" TV and, desk and large chair. Their LA team did that for me without flinching. Do it. Don't worry about a thing. They got you.
