Four stars because they do have the best bagels and breakfast sandwiches around. They lose a star because of their employees. I ordered ahead of time and arrived just before 7:30am on a Sunday. I was one of two customers in the store at the time. When I walked in, about 6 girls were working and chatting. Not one of them greeted me as I walked in. When the man ahead of me paid and exited, I waited at the cash register and another man walked in. He was greeted and his order taken before me. Eventually someone came to the register and asked if I had ordered yet. She also spoke so softly I could hardly hear her tell me my total. Suggestion, greet your customers and speak up. read more

CASH ONLY. This bagel place is the spot, I'll always make the drive to come get bagels here. They're fast and have a million options. There's not really a place to eat inside, it's more of a grab-and-go spot. Great price and great food! read more

The bagel sandwiches here are really something special. Everything is always fresh and hot, but the kicker is the fresh bagel. The bagels are always top notch, but it takes it to the next level by turning it into a sandwich. read more

Always a great move for bagels and sandwiches. They make their bagels on site which is also a plus.

Really disappointed. Our family has been coming here for 20 years. I'm done. My daughter called in an order. I heard it. I picked up her bagel and when I got home it was not what we ordered. I went back and the staff were so rude. They told me that it was my fault. They told me I was told what I got. Why would I have left with the wrong bagel? .They wouldn't give me the new bagel unless I gave her the wrong bagel so they could throw it out in front of me. So wrong on so many levels. No apologies, so wrong! We have choices in town to buy a bagel and they will not be one. What's sadder, we have been loyal customers for 20 years. read more

Just picked up 6 raw bagels nothing else and clerk asked for a tip. Are you kidding? The bagels are already $9 plus dollars which is atrocious. Acme has a weekend special $6 for a dozen and they're just as good for about 1/3 the cost. Here's a tip...the sign hanging about "hiring" is degrading and threatening to your staff...what are you Walmart? read more

Best bagels in town! I love when they have their $3 lunch specials of the day. Their French toast bagels are delicious and of course breakfast sandwiches with pork roll and cheese. The staff always serves with a smile and the bagels are always so fresh! read more

Best bagels and I live in NY so that says a lot! My fave is the everything bagel with cream cheese.

Bagels here are really good. It's hard to find a good bagel shop in the area but this one is comparable to a NY bagel. The bagel is slightly sweet and soft on the inside while crusty on the outside. Their cream cheese is very good too, with a whipped and light creamy texture. Flavors we tried are jalapeño cheddar yum!), cinnamon, cinnamon raisin, everything. read more

Bagels were doughy and didn't taste fresh. Ordered a simple breakfast sandwich which was made incorrectly. The work flow seemed clunky as the "line" (cluster?) didn't flow well, most likely due to the seasonal rush, as the workers fought over the register. This place is cash only. Food wasn't good, and the service was worse. read more

Terrible service. Maybe try repeating orders back to customers so you get it right. After messing up my sandwich by putting it on a completely different bagel and having it sit for 20 minutes, til I asked where my order was and they told me it was incorrect. The girl then took the meat off the one bagel and but it only the other and handed it to me. I think it's wrong it wasn't made fresh and wrong I was charged for a sandwich that was cold. I will never be back. read more

The worst place ever. Wrong order rude staff manager unprofessional. Wrong item, missing item, I wrong item was partially out of container when served. Toasted bagels we not even warm. owner was there wouldn't come out. After going back they would not replace the wrong item as they wanted the ordinal item back ... thing they would resell it???? How distrusting. Not even a refund. Other people walked in showing incorrect orders .... What a nightmare read more

This place is a rip-off, I purchased 6 Muffins and they charged me $17.58. When I asked the young lady behind the counter what each Muffin cost she told me $2.93 each. Just a few months ago muffins were $1.75 each. Clearly they are "Price Gouging". To top it off they are strictly a "Cash business"--in summary they are not only ripping the consumer off they are also ripping the State off. Last time I will go back and I will be sure to let all of my friends know as well. read more

Yesterday we had lox and cream cheese and and pork roll egg! This place is so nice and everything was fresh! The staff are very attentive and our bagel came out very fast. They have more than bagels too. They're open until 2pm so if you're ever around the area this is my number one spot for bagels! read more

The gluten free bagels are not also vegan. Giving this 2 stars because I told them on the phone that I am also vegan and they still let me leave with two non-vegan bagels. Glad I bought one still in the package, or I would've started eating it. The number 1 ingredient in GF bagels is cheese. If somebody mentions they are vegan, please be aware whether or not your products have animal product in them. Other than that I'm sure this place is lovely. My dad loves going here, he's not GF or vegan. read more

Best bagels for miles! Freshly made all morning, too many varieties to choose from. Always tasty! Their muffins are great. My son is a big fan if the cinnamon swirl muffin, but they are hit or miss, as they can sell out and you have to wait days for them to make more. Check out their weekday sandwich specials. For $3 their chicken salad can't be beat! This is the place for a bacon, egg, and cheese in the morning. read more

This place has ruined bagels for me forever! I just can't find a bagel more delicious than what is available here every day. Freshly made bagels and home made cream cheese... you just can't beat it! Oh and don't get me started on their breakfast sandwiches! None of this pre-formed egg patty nonsense. They cook up fresh eggs plus whatever breakfast meat you want. If cholesterol didn't exist, I think I'd eat one of their sandwiches every day! My favorite: egg everything bagel with bacon, eggs, and cheese. SO GOOD! read more

I've traveled to 38 states in this wonderful country, and I am yet to find a better tasting bagel. Ever since I left the 609 area, I continue to have my family ship me a dozen bagels from Bagels and Beyond to Dallas, TX whenever they get a chance. No other bagel competes, bar none! read more

I'd like to give the bagels 5 stars but every Bagels & Beyond location (Little Egg Harbor, Manahawkin, LBI) all have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'm not sure if this is because it's usually teenagers working but they're so unfriendly. It's like give me your order, don't ask questions, give me your cash! To make matters worse you can't hear them behind the counter with plexiglass and masks on and then they want to give you an attitude!! Honestly, the bagels are fresh but given the poor customer service over and over I'm not going back anymore. read more

I would recommend calling ahead during holiday weekends because this small shop can be very busy on weekends, but it's not hard to see why. This shop has the BEST bagels in town, and with so many options you'll definitely be able to find something you like. I usually just grab a dozen fresh bagels and keep them for myself for the next 1-2 weeks, but this shop also has delicious sandwiches. Whatever you're in the mood for, they probably have it, and you will definitely enjoy what you are eating. read more

Awesome service and efficient and very fast even when they are extremely busy.. the French toast bagel with pork roll egg and cheese is simply the best read more

Bagels were very good. Definitely fresh. They had a little crisp on the outside but were soft and delicious on the inside. Only negative that pushed this 5 star review to a 4 star review was that the teenage girl helping us seemed annoyed that we asked for 2 of each kind of bagel. That's what happens when you have people staying over that each like a different kind of bagel. Would definitely come back. Need better employees read more

Excellent bagels. The service is very good and if you call in your order it's ready almost immediately.

The BEST bagels around. Bagels here are fresh every morning, soft on the inside but not heavy and doughy like a lot of other bagel shops' bagels. They make awesome breakfast sandwiches on your choice of a variety of rolls, bread, or bagels. They also have their own-made cream cheese flavors, some of which are quite unique (jalapeno!?) and have a wide variety of bagel flavors, including healthier options like whole wheat or pumpernickel. It's very busy in summers, especially on the weekends so be prepared to wait in line or call in your order. The girls who prepare your orders are not terribly friendly when it's busy but on slower days, they're quite nice, actually. read more

Bagels are the best here in my opinion. I prefer the everything egg bagel over anything that ive been able to get in my travels for work. I've been all over NJ and NYC and cant find a better bagel than here. The breakfast sandwiches are good too. Call and order ahead because it can be crazy busy on any day of the week. read more

My husband just brought my 2 bagels & gave cashier $ 20.00 +changes. The cashier gave my husband back $ 2 back and told my husband that he gave her $ 5 and change. This is my last time to buy from this place. Becareful this is place is scram your money. Also bad service too. read more

Great bagel place, always has good stuff to eat and was my go to bagel spot before I had to move from the area.

Great bagels and the breakfast sandwiches are loaded with bacon and cheese - delicious. On the other hand... the service is ridiculously slow, even when it's not busy. I waited in line for 7 minutes the other day before they even took my order. When I walked in, there were two people in front of me and 5 people working. Very frustrating. read more

Best bagels ive had in this area (not that i was exactly searching for worlds best bagel) but no other place has beat them yet. Prices are a bit high but once in awhile its a nice little treat, it would get pretty expensive for an every morning breakfast stop. Call in your order on your way there to avoid the wait. But other then that it is deffinatley worth it. read more

Best bagels in the area!! Everything is super fresh. Sandwiches are made to order and always come out perfect!! Crazy crowded on the weekends, so the best thing to do is call in your order ahead of time. Lots of different kinds of bagels to choose from. I'd give them 5 stars if they took credit cards. It's just the way we do business in the 21st century! Plus, I'd have more dollars to stuff in the tip jar if I didn't have to spend all my cash on my order. read more

Great bagels always fresh. Sandwiches are great and really good priced. Gets crowded but only because of how good the food is.

Bagels and Beyond have the best bagels Ive ever had. Their breakfast sandwiches are out of this world. All bagel sandwiches made to order. This can lead to a long wait but its well worth it! Pork Roll, Egg, and cheese on an everything or french toast bagel! read more

Great place! Customer service is horrible and everyone seems to have an attitude. Some of the basic customer service techniques are not in use and its hard to understand why. For their information, you work at a bagel shop in a small town in NJ, If you are miserable working at a establishment like this, its time for a career change. But if working at a Bagels & Beyond is the goal of your life than I suggest taking a look in the mirror and understanding that this is your life and you are choosing to be outwardly miserable to customers that are happy to see you. Taking the time to understand this phenomena will not change your effort or attitude I'm sure, but its important to understand no one cares how miserable you are in the world especially those ordering food. See a therapist, talk to your mom, ether way do something and work with a happy attitude. read more
