Yesssss, their bagels are gooodddd. You can even get them grilled on a skillet if you want to be extra with the bagel game. The employees are so sweet with having the order ready timely after I placed it on the phone. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. It's a casual place where you can order at one counter and pay at the other counter. Or you can place the order prior on the phone. My order- For drink I ordered hot coffee. In breakfast ordered the number 1 with eggs cooked any way and option of bagel or bread. Of course I had to try their bagel because my coworker couldn't stop talking about it. She is from New York, and knows her bagels. She was right, I loved the freshness of my everything bagel. Side Note- My review is for a pick up order. It was very unprofessional for you to write a review like that, and the owners should have it removed, due to poor representation of their business. What you said about Lee is not only mean, but also a lie. Lee was the "face" of Bagel Snack for 30+ years and loved her customers, and they loved her as well. Now everyone just misses her. She was an asset to the business. If you and the rest of the servers did not like her, then that just shows your, and their level of maturity, or I should say, lack there of. Lee had a dining room to run, overseeing a bunch of middle aged, old, catty, backstabbing waitresses. If you all can't be team players, take direction or constructive criticism, then you don't belong in this business. And obviously you did not understand Lee's job, her responsibilities, and how difficult it can be at times. She kept things running like a well oiled machine. I'm from New York by far. This place has the best bagels I've had down here in Florida, but the people that serve you at the counter, have an attitude problem when you ask them that you want a specific bagel that you picked out it seems to be a problem to them. If you don't use the bagels that they have in the back already, which is not right a customer wants a certain item to eat. He picks it out himself with his own eyes. That's what he got. No questions ask it shouldn't be an issue. I've worked this business in New York for 25 years. I never ever told the customer they can't have a certain bagel or anything for that matter. read more

The salmon was so delicious. I was totally caught off guard since this is South Florida and not my regular Lower Merion Jewish deli. The bagels were perfectly toasted. I LOVE Deli's. Especially NY type delis. This is one of the VERY few left here in South Florida. This one has EVERYTHING that I am looking for. This is almost like a "CHEERS" type place. Everyone knows your name. Most folks are regulars here and the servers seem to know everyone. The food portions are very large and you will never leave hungry. Now to the bagels. They are awesome. They are crunchy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. They have every variety that you could possibly want. The serve staff have all been there forever. They are cheery, friendly and most efficient. They also offer a variety of frozen foods to take home. Worth your while to go out of your way for breakfast and then take home a few extra meals as well. They also sell a frozen crumb cake which is to die for. Coming home... That's the feeling I got when I returned to Bagel Snack after a long absence. It had been over a year since I had been back to Bagel Snack, it was like I never left. I was so warmly greeted by ALL the staff. The restaurant had been remolded with new tile walls and a new menu since my last visit. I don't think there is a restaurant in South Florida with a more experienced deli staff. Most of the people working at Bagel Snack have been there for many years. This is so unusual for this type of business, everyone seems so happy working at Bagel Snack. My Waiter, Neil, was a true professional. He was helpful with my order and very pleasant. I had an egg white omelette with munster cheese (huge) with the best bagel in Broward County. The food was all cooked to order and extremely fresh and tasty. There was enough food to take home half. I really love Bagel Snack. Every time I've ordered, and I'm fussy, my choices were exactly as I wanted. Only one complaint: the meats are too dry. Corned beef and pastrami taste so much better with a little fat left on. It certainly can be removed for a customer who requests it lean. But don't assume we all want it that way. read more

Everything we had was great. I had Lox Sandwich on pumpernickel bagel. Lots of lox and cream cheese, thick cut red onion, it was great. Bagels are authentic East Coast boiled. My son had tuna club, layered sandwich topped with krispy fries. My daughter had French Toast0, cut thick. Large portions and a lot of choices. Being desperate for some semblance of a NYC bagel I drove to Pompano and then out west to Bagel Snack and the bagels were good and if I'm rating by local standards then my bagels were very good and among the best I have tried in South Florida. The bagels had an authentic taste and at least they didn't taste like bread or rolls and there was a nice chewy texture. A house made Potato Knish didn't have much flavor and was dense and heavy so it needed to be cut into quarters and then it was okay. Spicy mustard also helped. It's not my type of place to dine in and I ordered everything to go. Prices are inexpensive and I suppose that and a familiar menu are what attracts the seniors on fixed incomes in. Good for them. However, the line to pay was ridiculous as one patron was trying to correct a bill issue. I understand the gentleman's check issue and times are tough for many and Biden inflation has hurt a lot of people but there should have been a better way by management to resolve a check dispute without forcing many customers to wait in a lengthy line. The store like its shopping center is weathered and parking was a little tight but that's okay because Bagel Snack has the bagels I have been searching for. I placed an order for bagels, nova, tomatoes, and rugelach on Wednesday evening for pick up the next morning at 8AM. I had read that these were the best bagels in S Florida and had NY guests visiting so wanted to give Bagel Snack a try. Everything was absolutely delicious and my guests were impressed. I actually burnt my everything bagel and my nova sandwich was still delicious. So happy to have found my new bagel place! read more

We believe in Tradition! We have a great breakfast here every 1st Sunday and last Saturday when we fly into the area for our December weekly vacation. Probably been about 10 years now, and the hostess remembers us all the time and gives us a big hello (as does the gentleman there too). We also order bagels, smoked fish, cream cheese, and tuna salad to go after our meals. The dining room is full of locals who live in the condos nearby in Palm-Aire, and we have run into a few that we recognized from years past. Food and service is always good and never had any issues. I have given BS ultimate stars. I voted for them for Best Bagel/Sun Sentient, where I remain a top contributor. Today, being sick, I went there for a quart of Matzoh Ball Chicken Noodle Soup. Horrible! Tasted like the bottom of the Dead Sea! No chicken, no carrots, no celery!!!! I had to dump in a bottle of water and add the missing ingredients plus lemon. I guess they used all their salt on the soup, because matzo balls were tasteless and small. They should go to Pomperdale's or Top Hat Deli for lessons!!! Soup Nazi Time!! Very upset. read more

Other than Flakowitz in Boca Raton, as a former New Yorker, it was hard to find good bagels in south Florida. Bagel Snack fits the bill. It's a diner style bagel shop and their bagels are very good especially toasted. They have a great selection of bagel choices including whole wheat everything which is my fav. They also have good bialys which are impossible to find. They serve breakfast and lunch and the service is very good here. They also have rugalah, which are good but I have actually found better ones. Try this place for breakfast, lunch or brunch. read more

Bagel snack has the best bagels I have every had! That includes NY bagels. They are made fresh in-house and you can taste the difference. They also have egg salad that is to die for. The resturant itself is small and always crowded on the weekends so you do need to be patient with the staff as they can be a bit slow. When you walk in there is a counter where you can order fresh bagels, homemade salad platters (egg, chopped liver, chicken ect). So, we went. The food is good. That doesn't deserve four stars. Breakfast food is the easiest food to make. Mostly because after eight hours of sleeping, anything tastes good. But also because eggs are pretty easy to cook and can be prepared so many different ways. Our order came out fine, the food was good, there was one of our party who had to send something back, but they corrected the problem immediately and he was satisfied. But the best part was, the guy who screwed up at the register last year wasn't there this time. We were out in no time. And no attitude. We're going back next month. read more

Our server, an older gentleman, was super kind and patient with my table as my mates were running him around. My bagel, nova schmear, and corned beef hash were all excellent. Mu husband got us breakfast to go this morning since I am on couch rest. I was looking for a place to get some breakfast, and the Bagel Snack came up on Yelp. They have quite a lot of items to choose from on their menu, and I struggled between an omelette and a chicken salad platter. When I called, the lady who answered the phone was so sweet! She gave me the friendliest service and was so refreshing. I opted for the chicken salad platter with a toasted everything bagel. It came over a bed of lettuce with sliced cucumbers, green bell pepper, tomatoes, and onions accompanied by coleslaw and potato salad. I really liked the cucumber touch. The taste of it all together hit the spot. There is a platter without the other two salads which is what I wanted, but when we opened the food it had all three which wasn't a big deal. I didn't like the coleslaw. It was very bitter. I can't even explain the taste. It reminded me of sauerkraut. The potato salad was tasty, but since I was already eating a bagel I didn't want to overdo it with the carbs. My husband got the protein omelette which was egg whites, spinach, turkey, and cheese. It was a very nice sized portion. Usually he will eat his meal in one sitting, but the omelette was so plentiful that he had a later snack that was pretty much half of the omelette. All of the omelettes come with your choice of bagel/toast. The restaurant also has a deli area where you can buy sandwich meats and cheeses. read more
