This place is a literal joke. I got the most simple order ever, and they still managed to mess it up when on top of that they were not even busy. This is the bagel I received. It was supposed to be an egg bagel which I had to clarify twice and there was also supposed to be bacon and tomato on it and it looks like I maybe got one strip of bacon. Lol. Definitely do not recommend going here. The workers were not friendly to begin with and this is a picture of my bagel for proof. This isn't even the first time they have messed my order up

Friends picked up some Bagels seemed like they were a day old. Tough and skimpy bagels very disappointed. Not much to add will have to find another bagel place in this area.

Service is really quick and the bagels are tasty, they're a lot like the bagels you'd get up at a deli in NYC. Definitely worth the stop!

WOW 10/10 BEST PHILLY CHEESE STEAK IN SOUTH FLORIDA! Yes I know this may be a bold statement but…read moreafter visiting Philadelphia and coming back home it was hard to find a quality cheesesteak. Then we found Meeter's deli! Hands down one of the best in Florida with tons of cheese and a great meat to cheese ratio. They also offer cold sandwiches aswell and they are out of this world with all fresh ingredients I ordered the Italian cold sub with a Philly and let's just say just do yourself a favor and try it already. This is a local hidden gem and you are truly missing out if you do not stop by and enjoy any of the fresh hand made daily sandwhiches.

I did read online last week that the owner is sick and he will be closing down this establishment to focus on his health. I wish you all the best and I hope you get back to being healthy and have another 50 years left in you. I do not know his real age. This deli was such a big part of Port St. Lucie, and we love nothing more than to support small businesses. I will say, my favorite sandwich is, of course the Philly cheesesteak which is my go to every time. Absolutely delicious and this is from somebody who's had her fair share of Philly cheesesteaks and even a few in the city of Philadelphia. I want to thank you for opening up this business and us locals having a place to go for one hell of a lunch. Thank you, and I wish you all the best.

I lunched Gourmet Deli House on Friday and thankfully it was not too busy. We were seated…read moreimmediately at a table near their bussing cart and kitchen which was a little loud but it was nice to see the rolling carts coming from the kitchen with everything that was ordered. The Lobster Salad Melt was definitely a popular choice. My husband thought the menu was huge and had so many things we wanted so we decided that we had to order the Whitefish Salad with Rye Bread and a Turkey Reuben. The complimentary added pickles made the meal perfect. Our server, Tyra, was great! She had a great attitude and made sure that we had everything we needed right down to the take home containers for our leftovers since the portions are so big. Everything we ordered was delicious and I was a little skeptical when I looked at the ingedients because it seemed like there was a lot of colorful fillers in the whitefish (and all their salads that are scooped) but it worked to give an added flavor but not over powering the fish flavor. The restaurant was clean and definitely could tell that it had been around for a long time. The meal was great and we are looking forward to a return visit and to check out their wonderful bakery items in the showcase.

Unfortunately, every time I come back to Gourmet Deli House wanting to give it another chance, I…read moreleave more disappointed. This is definitely not the same place it was 15-20 years ago. A lot of the foods and selections that made this place special have disappeared from the menu, and now the customer service seems to be going in the same direction. Today I stopped in for somewhere between 1/8 and 1/4 pound of lox. It's just me eating it, so I didn't need a full quarter pound. The woman at the counter told me, rather abruptly, that she would only sell me a quarter pound. I explained that I wanted an eighth and that a little over was perfectly fine. Her response was essentially, "I'm only selling a quarter pound." Fortunately, the gentleman slicing the lox simply listened to what I was asking for and took care of me. Thank you to him. To the woman working the register/counter today: customer service matters, especially for a longtime local business where people remember how good the place used to be. A simple request from a paying customer shouldn't turn into an argument over a couple of ounces of lox. I genuinely want to see this place succeed, but if the quality, selection, and customer service continue in this direction, I have a hard time seeing Gourmet Deli House being around much longer.

It's been a while since checking out Too Jays in Jupiter. I was visiting the area again and…read moredecided to give this long standing establishment a try. The folks were friendly, food was still good and from what I experience still has plenty of folks coming. The interior hasn't changed since I was there last with still plenty of booths and if you had a large party they could accommodate. I had the Too Jays regular sandwich on rye which was corned beef & pastrami combined. Meat was tender and the bread fresh. With a little mustard it was very good. My wife had the Reuben sandwich which looked good and my wife said was very good. We both had fries and they came out hot & had good flavor. So, in concluding if you're looking for a typical NY Deli sandwich it's not Carnegie Deli of the past but it is good.

People there in front seemed happy. But we did notice that there were very few people eating there. We ordered a chicken and mushroom dish with matzo ball soup for my dad, liver and onions with salad for me, and fish and chips with salad for my husband. She apparently packaged it all somewhere I couldn't see, and handed me a large bag. I didn't think to examine it carefully before we left. We were hungry. When we got across town to my father's house, the problems appeared. They packaged the soup, which was in a plastic container, surrounded by cellophane, and put it on its side. It leaked all over, and made a big mess. My dad's meal was similarly poorly contained, and leaked. My dad did enjoy what was there of the meal itself. My liver and onions, which I ordered to be "medium," was raw. Blood red. And that package also leaked. The vegetables and potatoes were good, but I had to microwave it all to death to eat any of it. My husband's fish and chips were inedible. Dry as a bone. They didn't include anything to moisten it. No tartar sauce, no vinegar, nothing. And his salad had no dressing. He ordered blue cheese. No sign of it. He had what was left of Dad's soup, which wasn't much. My husband called first because he was still hungry and tired from our travels to get there. As he spoke with the woman on the phone, she wanted us to come back and they'd remake everything. Uh, no. Then the phone disconnected. I called back and talked to Aaron, the manager. I think he already knew some of the issue, but I recounted it nonetheless. He didn't hesitate. He said he'd refund us. That was the right thing to do. I couldn't check my credit cards until we returned home, and I don't even see the charge, so he must have been able to cancel the whole transaction. At least he recognized that they'd completely messed up. If he hadn't refunded us, I'd have given them 1 star. 3 seems fair. We were SO disappointed, as we don't even have delis like this where we live, and in the past, we'd had better experiences. We know now not to order takeout, and not to order meals, I guess, just sandwiches and rugelach when we go back to see my father. Thank you to Aaron for doing the right thing.
