I came here for breakfast the staff was friendly, the food was good although I found a brown hair in my food(my hair is blonde almost white) they remade it for me which was nice of them, inside is cozy and has a few tables to sit at and eat They don't boil their bagels so I'm not sure how they make them probably baked. they weren't bad they were really good I got the everything bagel, I don't know if I would go back just because the younger kids behind the register were laughing about the hair they didn't take it seriously and that kind of bothered me.. They did remake it for me though I didn't feel good eating it knowing that is how they reacted to the hair I would probably get the bagels again but from a different location due to this experience, I want to try the one in Taquesta! This order was taken out that my son picked up for me so I can't speak to the aesthetics of the bistro. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with the sauce on the side. I was surprised at how good the chicken was, it was a real breaded piece of chicken, lettuce (tomato if you want it which I didn't), cheddar cheese and sauce which I ordered on the side. I wasn't a fan of the sauce but the sandwich was great! It came with chips and a pickle. You can have it on your bagel of choice, I chose everything I would highly recommend the Bagel Bistro and I will definitely be returning! read more

I called at 1:10pm. The young man answered and told me to hold without waiting for a reply. I spent over 12 minutes on hold and tried calling back, getting a "your call cannot be completed as dialed as your party is busy". Absolutely ridiculous. I know they close at two and I live in the community behind them. We used to be an every weekend customer because their food (depending on who's working) is most times delicious not to mention the Jamaican me crazy coffee which is a favorite from my hometown in Utica NY. I drove down there and it wasn't packed so that gives the impression they put me on hold so they didn't have to wait on me. Horrible customer service. I'd rather go to the one in Tequesta anyways; better food and MUCH better customer service. read more

Yeah, I had walked out the day prior at roughly the same time, due to a line out the door. I was hoping that the wait was an anomaly. Boy was I wrong Arrived today Sunday12/28 at 10:00 am. 6 customers in line in front of me. Time stamp on my receipt was 10:16 am. Simple order, one bagel and cream cheese. I'm finally brought my order at 10:26. Bottom line: a decent bagels (not boiled), glacially slow service. If they were not a monopoly in Hobe Sound, I'd say go somewhere else. read more

The service is horrendous... They treat the customers with such disrespect and make you tip before you get your food. It's not rocket science putting cream cheese on a bagel. I waited 30 minutes for a a bagel I could have gone to Publix and went home and made myself... Good food and service. The gluten free bagels are tasty and pricing was reasonable!!

They have the best bagels in town hands down. Only issue is they never cut the bagels all the way through and end up causing you to make a mess trying to rip it apart. Bagels are never toasted enough and they can't seem to remember to add cream cheese to both sides of bagel when you order to go. We went for breakfast this morning! The line to order was long since they only have one register. My crepe this time was not as enjoyable as last one. It was a brownish color and tough. I'll pass on the crepe next time. I like the assortment of bagels and menu items. I am glad they are busy, but the line to order was again backed up to the door with customers. Owner / manager refuses to add Tabasco in the store simply because "He doesn't want to", according to his staff. Not a very polite explanation to a repeat customer. I don't care much for Cholula and it is made in Mexico, which I would prefer not to patronize. I wasted $15 and the food was so horrible it went straight in the trash. I don't normally do reviews but this is the 5th time in almost as many visits that I've had an issue. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese with an extra egg and extra butter on a toasted everything bagel, with a hashbrown and apple juice. I'd share a picture of my receipt they didn't give one. There was no second fried egg and no butter. The bagel wasn't toasted, it was pale in color and it tasted doughy. I tried not to waste it but in my second bite I got a mouthful of an edge of the fried egg which tasted and had the consistency of melted plastic so bad I almost choked trying to swallow. I feel this place has a decent menu, usually friendly staff, convenient and quaint venue/atmosphere especially since I live in the community up the street. However. I can't justify wasting $15 on inedible food. I'm 9 months pregnant so maybe my expectations were just too high today :( read more

Located in a small shopping center, there was plenty of parking available. The place is cute and simple. After a late night of driving and little sleep, this was the perfect way to help me wake up and get ready for the next day. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the flavors were very authentic and definitely the star of the show. They have a great assortment of bagels and cream cheeses. The only criticism I have is that they could add a little more cream cheese to their bagels, however it wasn't skimpy at all I'm just used to Northeastern places layering it on thick. We ordered a Taquiza sunrise which is a bagel with a hash brown. I added a little bit of cream cheese (from experience with another bagel shop) and it was delightful. Kept me full past lunch. We also ordered a spinach and chive bagel with garlic herb cream cheese and it was also very flavorful. The chive really comes through. We will definitely be making another visit. We have to make it through their menu and try some sweet items. read more

Tried this place for the first time after passing it on the way to work, had several friends recommend. They have a very unique assortment of bagels, including bacon, jalapeño cheddar and a sun-dried tomato provolone which were both delicious. They also have a very large assortment of cream cheeses, which I personally love. Looking at the menu, they have very many breakfast options other than bagels as well. I am excited to go back and try more items on the menu. The only thing we were disappointed in was the iced latte that we ordered, we ordered caramel lattes. There was absolutely no sweetener of any kind, nor any caramel flavor in either latte, next time, we will be sure to taste them before leaving. read more

Food and coffees are great! Very generous with their portions and wonderful flavors and selection. Would give them a hearty 5 stars but when we were there on a Saturday morning, there was no soap or paper towel in the restroom and several iof the table napkin containers were empty. Plus, We wanted to eat outside, but the tables were all soaking wet and we couldn't figure out how to raise the offset table umbrella. Plus, there was no trash can there to throw away our trash following our food. These are easy fixes with better manager oversight. read more
