We are so lucky to have this space to share! There is so much to do here. There is a dog park ~ for all sizes. Baseball stadium. LaCross fields. Soccer fields. Run/walk path. What a complete delight to have access to playgrounds and a small splash park. Every person in the family can use this space in different ways. There is a pavilion on site, and benches for picnics! This is an ADVISORY!! I was just intentionally peed on at this dog park. Description: Rottweiler, large, Black and Tan, male, blue caller, and choke chain, 90-120 pounds. The owners knows the dog has this behavior and didn't do any preventive measures nor discouraged this behavior after it was committed. I recommend that the dog and owners be removed from the dog park until proof that measures have been taken to correct the behavior. This experience was embarrassing, insulting and degrading. I smell of urine, my shoes will need to be replaced, we had to leave the dog park before we wanted to, and the owners did nothing to compensate me. I want the owners to know had this been a person this would have been considered assault. read more

What a great park! They have a large playground and splash pad for kids here. My brother and sister-in-law took my son and me here to cool off and I was really surprised how nice this place was. I would have never known to even go here because Yelp has it under "Dog Park." My only negative is that the bathrooms are a good 3-4 minute walk from the splash pad. When you have a small child that says, "I need to go potty" it could make it a challenge to run there before your little one has an accident. Wish they had a bathroom closer to the playground and splash pad. read more

I recently relocated to the area and brought two of my dogs to this park. The dog area is towards the back, so it took me a minute to figure that out since I mapped to the park and it directed me to the front. The parking lot was busy since there were ball games and lacrosse happening on each field. So be careful for kids running loose through the parking lot and on bikes/skateboards. The parking area is huge and there are two parts to the dog park: small dogs and large dogs. Play pools and water bowls are at each area with a hose to refill. The grass was very green and there are benches to sit if you so choose. The area was large and perfect for a Chuck It. Overall we had a very pleasant experience and will be going back. read more

Awesome morning at the Pawsabilities dog park in Richland, WA. One of the best dog parks we've been to, with multiple fenced play areas for small dogs vs larger. I think there are 3 small dog, and 2-3 larger dog areas. Clean, well kept, with lots of water, benches, some shade, and a wading pool in each which Keelie loves for cool-downs. If you are passing through tri-cities with your doggers, they would love a run here. read more

Wow. The water stuff is cool! The dog park is cool! The playground equipment is cool! More parks should be like this one! It is great when communities do stuff for kids, since kids don't get to vote and often get overlooked. Saw a little snack shack there too, so you could concievably stay here a good portion of the day. Park is clean and well kept, and just a place that makes you wanna be a kid again yourself. read more

DOG PARK!!! Our dog absolutely LOVES her trips to the dog park here. We take her every Saturday and Sunday. She gets to socialize with other dogs her size (she's a low rider) and she gets a lot of open space to run. The portion of the park dedicated to dogs is 3 acres and 1 of those acres is a separate fenced area for small and shy dogs. The City of Richland maintains the dog park as well as the rest of the park's property. It's all nicely kept. The other municipalities could learn a lot from this place and replicate in their respective areas. Though, I think our dog would miss the car ride to the park. :) read more

I will never go back again. I had few bad experiences w owners. They do not have common courtesy at all and ignorant. Their dogs were attacking on my two dogs and owners were just watching and laughing. I asked the owners to watch their own dogs but they just said oh, my dogs are just playing. Clearly, they weren't. Be responsible for your dog's action. There are poops everywhere too. It's just so sad that only few irresponsible people making only dog park in Tri Cities down. read more

This is a great space for dogs! They've worked hard to keep this place nice and tidy, please be responsible and watch and clean up after your dog! I will say that I've had a couple of bad experiences too, but you eventually learn which dogs/dog owners to avoid. We usually come in the mornings or a little before noon where it's less crowded. At any dog park, you will get a hodgepodge of different owners and dogs so be prepared to come at your expense! My dog and I have a routine during the week and we haven't had any issues lately. I've had two dogs that were scaring my dog, but the owners were responsible and corrected their dogs on the spot, and we all were all able to enjoy the park together. We've had more hits than misses and think this place is a great place to socialize your dog. read more

My main reason for going here is the dog park. It is a large fenced area where lots of dogs come to play. People here are really friendly and I haven't met any out of control dogs. There are lots of tennis balls and water dishes as well as some picnic tables. Plus a mud puddle that my dog seems especially fond of. The rest of the park is quite large with soccer fields, baseball fields, and basketball courts as well as a playground and BBQ areas. There are walking trails as well and just seems like a nice place to spend a Saturday. read more

I can't understand the bad reviews for this amazing dog park! We are on a road trip with our pup, and stopped here for him to get some exercise. We couldn't believe that there were three separate fenced parks! They were all super well-maintained, with grass, benches, and brand new kiddie pools with hoses so that the pups could cool off in the water. There wasn't a whole lot of shade, but only because the trees haven't gotten big enough yet. But that should change in a few years! Super nice dogs and owners. Highly recommend! read more

Found this little hidden gem on our recent 2500 mile road trip.... we have a 1 year Frenchie who just needed a good place to run. He had a blast! There are three separate areas for different sizes, but a great little park. Love the secure gates and covered area to sit. Only complaint is that it was a little hard to figure out how to get there to park. It's actually a street before the park that leads you up. read more

It's a great dog park, but I have a older Doberman that gets nervous around multiple dogs. There are multiple sections of the park but most of them are always locked. It's hard to find a place to run my dobje with only a few dogs at a time. read more

What a great addition to the area! Our dog, Westbrook, had a great time and enjoyed running around with the other dogs. There was fresh water out, a couple of wave pools, and lots of friendly dogs and owners!! There are bags and waste receptacles everywhere to clean up after your dog. Please make sure that everyone does and the park will stay as great as it is right now!! Thanks to everyone who worked hard to put this wonderful place together. Update to my review posted on 1/26/18 Since my first review I have become further appalled. I have recently witnessed several small breed dogs being led into the large breed area while still attached to leashes. Kids as young as three being allowed into the park screeching at the top of their lungs while their parents sit on cellphones not paying attention as their children are striking dogs. Dogs getting into fights nearly resulting in injuries to dogs and owners. Owners consuming alcoholic beverages while sitting outside the fence, being no where close if there is an issue with their dog. This is a park that has taken hands-off approach too literally. I have also been approached by members of the Tri-City Dog park group that maintains this park. They have asked me to remove my comments since they are harming their yelp review status. I told them the same thing I will say here. "I will take down the reviews when the safety of dogs and owners can be guaranteed. Until then, I cannot in good conscience remove an honest review." I refuse to allow my dog to play in any portion of the park with other dogs for the very real possibility of injury to myself or my dog. Until these issues of safety are addressed, this place shall continue to be a potential powder keg. I wonder if it will take another massive dog fight like what occurred a few years ago to get this park back to some semblance of safety. read more

The people here are worse than the dogs. They're incredibly rude and inconsiderate. My dog isn't allowed here because she's not fixed which is understandable, the people who told me to leave were so rude and their dogs were being aggressive and several people asked them to take their dogs else where but they did not. Dog owners who can't control their dogs should not he allowed in. read more

Great dog park. Most experiences have been good. A few bad with aggressive, poorly trained and/or non-neutered animals, so a little policing would be great, though outside of requiring individual use contracts not sure how that would happen. Lots of room to run and play. read more

I'm a big fan of this dog park. I like that they have two large fenced off play areas. One for the more friendly, socialized dogs. And one specifically for the smaller more bashful woofers. It's not as close to home as I'd like, but my husband and I make a point of going at least once a week. read more

I'm from out of town and wanted a place to take my dog to run for a little bit, I found Badger Mountain dog park was an off-leash area so of course I went. What a disappointment, there is a little bit of grass that is not being maintained, 2 or 3 small tree that provide absolutely no shade, a gazebo, 2 benches and no place to deposit the dogs doo that is picked up. Apparently your expected to carry it home with you. There were two border collies when I arrived and shortly four more dogs arrived, three of them being herding dogs and 1 a young Boxer mix. Once the Boxer mix arrived the five herding dogs all decided they were going to herd it. The Boxer mix coward as the other dogs continued their aggression towards him while the owners of tbe 5 herders simply stood and watched. Do they really think this is proper socialization for dogs. I think not and left this park immediately. read more

I'm from out of state. When I visit my sister, we take our dogs to the dog park...my sister enjoys it several times a week. My experience has been not so great. Many times when we went out there there were large dogs in the small dog park. There have been times where I witnessed larger dogs showing aggressive behavior yet the owners do nothing as they are too busy socializing with other owners. I prefer to go out there when there aren't any dogs in the small dog park so my chihuahuas can run and play without fear. I do like that there is a place for dogs to run off leash but it would be nice for owners to clean up after their dogs and maintain control and most of all, follow the rules! read more
