Did not respond to my voicemail, nor answer the phone or respond to my voicemail the next day! COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED. I was looking forward to dealing with a local company. They should be ashamed. Also, google hours are incorrect, so when I first went to the showroom, they were closed. I would avoid this place. If they don't even have the courtesy to respond or apologize, they don't deserve your business.

They do not know how to install hard wood floors, nor do they know how to fix ones that were chipped or uneven. They cannot complete something as simple as bathroom tiles. It has taken them over 6 months to try to finish both of these tasks. They will not show up on time and will leave early. I would rather try to do this myself then ever use these hacks. What a miserable experience. I would stay far away from here as you will inevitably end up unhappy and frustrated and overcharged! UPDATE: The owner is now lying stating that we didn't do business with them. You should start taking accountability here. Would you like my emails, the invoice, or pictures/dates showing how long everything took? I think you know which project you recently did that you had to come back for to try to fix your hardwood flooring again and again. Not knowing how to fix cracked or warped hardwood floor. And how the bathroom tile started in July, and finally was completed in what December? Messing it up every single time. Your flooring guys are clearly incapable of doing their jobs and I have all the receipts to prove it. I can post them below if you would like.

I have had a couple people in to quote the job, 1 said we only needed to put wood filler in the cracks of my railing posts....ummm, I'm no expert but pretty sure that won't fix the safety aspect. Anyway, Jerry said he couldn't do the job right now because he has too many pending projects, but he still swung by to look at the railings & stairs to confirm my suspicions that they need to be replaced in order to be safe for my family. He took time out of his day for a non-paying client and gave honest assessment of the work needed to be done. While I really want to fix the unsafe railings, part of me hopes I can't find someone else until he is available for the job!

We actually got their name directly from the deck manufacturer, who told us Boston Framers was excellent and highly recommended them. After working with them, I can see why. They started exactly when they said they would and showed up every day to keep the job moving. They even worked some weekends to get everything completed, which we really appreciated. Their carpenters were excellent. The workmanship was meticulous, the materials were all top quality, and you could tell they really cared about doing the job right. The price was very competitive, especially for the quality of work we received. I also made a few minor changes along the way, and they were very easy to work with and accommodated the changes without adding extra charges. It's not easy to find a contractor that is reliable, fairly priced, uses quality materials, and takes this much pride in their work. Boston Framers checked all those boxes for us. We're extremely happy with our new deck and would absolutely recommend Boston Framers to anyone considering a deck or other construction project. Five stars without hesitation.

Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. Would take weeks and, more than once, even months…read moreto get them to come back and do any work (see screenshots of my text interactions with them -- note the dates). They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.

He was hired to build a retaining wall for us. We bought materials, APPROVED PRIOR TO INSTALLATION BY GENE. We hounded him for weeks to finish the job, even questioned (with pictures) as to why it looked like the wall was bowing in the middle. He said its the "blocks. Its the way they sit. One row bumps out the next" blah blah blah. I said as long as its safe and not going to fall thats fine. He never finished the job, we had to build our own walls on the 2 ends of the main wall. While bringing crushed stone to the backyard, the vibration of the bobcat made the original wall COLLAPSE! We were at least 4 feet from the main wall, literally just putting the stone in the back yard for HIM to finish filling the wall HE was supposed to do. He had the balls to ask what we did?!?! Are you kidding me?? WE did nothing. OUR WALLS, that were built the correct way stayed perfectly fine. Gene didn't use the geogrid he said he was going to use every 2 rows to distribute the weight of the crushed stone and he used INTERIOR CAULKING that isnt to be used where it will get below 50 degrees! We live in new england! He was supid enough to bury the used tubes of caulking in the crushed stone. Oh did I mention that his "worker" was also telling me about his new wife, who was my childhood best friend, and how Gene had showed him the dirty videos she had sent him. He was telling me how Gene had showed them all to him. Classy guy... I didn't bother telling her. We ended up building our own wall, the correct way, and haven't had a single issue with it. For some reason some pics won't upload but you can see I questioned him on some things and he always had an excuse!
