We get the fried chicken and wedges a lot and eat the shit out of it. Probably not the healthiest meal but when you've had a long day, or a big fight, this is what you want when you don't wanna cook at home and you want to eat your feelings. lol.

As I was showing her my ID, my thumb was slightly covering the barcode. Instead of politely asking me to move my thumb, she yelled, "YOU'RE BLOCKING IT." After I repositioned my hand, she followed it up with, "TURN IT AROUND. THANKS FOR THE 3D LOOK, SHEESH!" It was bizarre and completely unnecessary. Just a few days earlier, I was using self-checkout when the scanner wouldn't read my ID. Rather than waste everyone's time fighting with the machine, I quietly backed out and decided to use the express checkout instead. The self-checkout attendant immediately started yelling, "SIR, WAIT! SIR!" as I walked away. As far as I know, I'm free to change my mind about where I check out, so I simply kept walking. Two negative experiences in the span of three days tells me this isn't just one employee having a bad day. It left me with the impression that poor customer service is accepted at this location. We come here as paying customers and deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I hope management takes a closer look at how employees interact with patrons and raises the standard for customer service.

I got a two piece spicy chicken tenders box with a side. I like that they have regular or spicy to choose from and I picked Mac n cheese as my side and you can choose a dipping sauce for the tenders. I was surprised at how good everything tasted and you actually get two whole pieces of chicken tenders! Almost every where else the "tenders" are just cut up strips of tenders. And the Mac n cheese was pretty good for stovetop Mac n cheese. It was a simple meal but it was done right. I will definitely comeback and try their other chicken meals

I stopped by this morning to order the dark fried chicken meal, turkey/sausage breakfast sub, hash brown & 1 roll. I'm convinced the young lady that prepared my food doesn't know how to cook. Didn't think it was possible, but my chicken had a crispy coating with rubbery chicken skin, no flavor & greasy as heck! The fries tasted like they were cooked & then reheated by microwaving too long; making them soggy & rubbery. The hash browns were soggy & greasy too. The turkey sausage sub tasted rubbery like it had been reheated/microwaved too long as well, the 1 roll was the only thing that tasted edible. Probably because it required no cooking! The quality of cooking has gone down so much that i won't risk driving across town for bad food again. Royal Farms, your chicken has an excellent reputation for being the best.
