I was very nervous about having a 8 week old puppy flown in 110 degree weather so she had someone drive him. When he arrived their car wreaked of cigarette smoke. The poor puppy felt skinny and I immediately fed him. He is cute, but has had the runs since I got him. Fast forward three weeks later I take him to the vet and he has Giardia. Now the paperwork her vet sent said he had it and was treated which is bullshit! Its a two week treatment according to my vet, which I am still giving him to this day. I emailed her that it cost me 217.00 for the visit and meds (she asked what kind the Dr gave him) I never heard back from her. The puppy is smart, and my other dog plays with him a lot, which is why I got him. I spent a lot of my hard earned money and didn't deserve a sick puppy! Doing more research, she breeds many different kinds of dogs. I am saddened it will cost even more to get him completely healthy. The lady working at the desk offered to check me in from outside when she saw me at the door, but not entering. I noticed she was not masked and when I enquired if the staff were masked inside she said, "no, we don't have to". Her flippant disregard really caused me pause and I asked if all staff were unmasked including the doctors and she answered affirmatively. I canceled my appointment and will find another vet. So confused why a medical facility would have such disregardm for their patrons safety during the height of the pandemic.
