I had to inform him that I knew the number because he had originally texted me at 10:15am on May 5th that he wasn't going to be able to make the 9am-10am window. Then he got really defensive so I said I'll just pay this bill and never do business with you again. I then hung up. Again, the employee was very friendly and helpful that came out. She's rude, unhelpful, and has no customer empathy. We've been an Indy Irrigation customer for over 10 years, mainly because they installed our irrigation system. They're customer service has degraded year over year as their prices increased. This year we reached a breaking point. They were supposed to open our system as part of our maintenance contract. We were out of town when they arrived. They left with the water turned off at the street because one of the valves (for our garden) was stuck on. The technician didn't fix it, stating that he couldn't find the valve box. Indy Irrigation should know where it is -- they insstalled it and it's right next to the garden! We contacted them and they wanted to charge us for another trip to our house, and they couldn't guarantee when they would arrive. They were currently scheduling into July, but no guarantee. My wife told them that they were going to lose us as a customer and the woman at the office didn't budge. Ten plus years a customer, 10+ years paying annual maintenance contract. No more. Goodbye Indy Irrigation. We called another company and they are coming out at 6pm today. They recognized the urgency of the situation, and the opportunity to get a new client.

The only thing that held it up from a fifth star was we felt like the staff was withholding or not taking us seriously when we were asking for interest in ordering a magnolia tree. We were asking for price ranges and they wouldn't seem to give it to us even though we understood that they didn't have them available currently or that they may need to look it up. I can't help but feel like I thought we wouldn't be able to afford it or something of that nature. Otherwise, a not so bad experience. You will find everything from wind chimes, tropical plants, fairly mature trees, and birdseed here.

I wanted a complete new look for the front of my house and mulch on the other 3 sides. When I called the owner he said he would be at my house that evening about 7:00 to review the scope of work and measure how much mulch was needed. He was right on time. He told me the estimate would be sent the next day, which is exactly what he did. The estimate came in a lot lower than others I had contacted. The work was completed on the day we had scheduled and it was exactly what I wanted. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I asked if he did fall clean up of the landscaping and he said yes and put me in his calendar to reach out to me end of October or early November to see if I still would like for him to complete to the service. The grass has come in very nicely and we've spent a ton of time on the patio already!

While one carried wheel barrel loads of mulch around in preparation of later spreading it, the others were grabbing the extra weeds we had missed as well as spent a considerable amount of time in tidying up all the edges of each bed before applying the mulch. The edges were already defined but had become a bit messy. When they were finished it was tidy, sharp clean edges! It was apparent their attention to detail was important to them, it was obvious they cared about the way they performed the job and cared about the end result of our yard. Our backyard is our sanctuary and an important part of our everyday living. We truly appreciated how careful they were with everything they did. The vibe was pretty chill, good music and incense going. As we were checking out the fish, we were checked on by the employees here and there. They were very friendly. Most of the prices were on par vs typical box stores. Some cheaper, some more expensive. I did ask about Koi, they had some out back in the greenhouse, and the very large ones were priced very competitively. Overall a great experience and we'll be back.
