They have improved their selection of cat food and snacks (which was the biggest problem I had with them before), and now they offer considerably more friendly and helpful service than the competitors (Petsmart, Petco, and even Healthy pet). To be clear: their service always was good!, But their competitors have gotten a lot worse imo). One example of how their service is better: During the pandemic I was having trouble getting some of my cats their preferred food. I went to Mud Bay and found about half of the things I was looking for. The friendly cashier asked me if I found what I was looking for so I explained what food I was unable to find. He did some checking in their computer, and found that some of it was available in other stores in the area, and some could be ordered and picked up at their store (convenient!). That blew me away, and that's great customer service. There are still some sizable downsides to Mud Bay though. Their selection of anything other than canned and dry food, for cats, is, in my opinion, is the worst amongst their local competition. And shopping there is a pain due to the horrible parking situation there in that mall and some fairly short hours. Still, I hold Mud Bay in high esteem and all things being equal do much of my shopping there now.

We had an early appt at 9 am and dropped our sweet girl off for bath, haircut, nail trim and paid extra for the holiday package. They said takes 3-4 hours for our 6 month old puppy. All good. So I don't hear anything by 12:15 so just head back to the store thinking when I get there she will be almost done when I arrive at 12:45. Nope. Fine - they are busy- totally understand. They say 15 more minutes as I watch them take our girl from the back and put her on platform for the minor trim work we asked for around her face and to clean up sanitary area. Oh and that nail trim. 30 minutes later I go back in and she is done ( they did not let me know as I just kept wandering the store) but the minor haircut looks like I did the " bang trim" myself at home. So crooked and messy. Definitely rushed even though I said do not rush. She looks silly. Also nails not done ( I realized at home when I got scratched) and sanitary not done. $100 + dollars for a bath, blowout and really poor hair cut. Never going back there. Wilsonville is so much better. That tech should be retrained. She is horrible.

I thought he may be too old for training, but have been proven wrong. Since taking him to Zoom Room I as a pet owner have learned techniques to address his behavior during walks making them more enjoyable. We started out in Calm Down class and have moved on to Obedience and Agility classes. They have several differnet packages, subscriptions and flex options to choose from to work within my budget. We recently had to take a break but am looking forward to starting back up again this month.

During a recent pedicure at Angel Nails, I noticed the Zoom Room so I told my husband about it and he signed us up for a free intro class. Upon arrival we were greeted by the sweetest person and the front desk. She got us checked in and took our pup's first day photo - adorable. After getting checked in we waited and browsed their merchandise which included a lot of training treat options that we hadn't seen before. When it was time for class to begin, we got settled at our station. The trainer was kind and funny and taught us a few new things. Our puppy was very excited and interested in the other dogs but we eventually got her to pay attention to us about halfway through the class. Overall we had a good experience, but did find class to be a bit distracting with the various puppies and parents in attendance. We may consider returning for private training sessions in the future.

They are very good at taking the time to explain things very well. All employees are friendly and kind. Dr. Tongue treated my dog last time, and my impression is that she is terrific. M concern is that in three years I have never had the same veterinarian twice. No one seems to have much ongoing professional or personal investment in my senior dog's health. Since my dog now has some chronic issues and is 16 + years old, I have asked if I could have the same vet for continuity of care and Dr. T agreed. Also, my dog came for a visit for a chronic cough. He was not given a definitive diagnosis, just a mentioning of 3-4 serious things it could be. I was then given 'the talk' about the 'quality of his life,' etc., indicating euthanizing him may be on his radar soon. Instead my dog's cough got better and that was months ago. Last, it seems to be 'policy' to now charge extra money $ for a 2-3 minute 'vet tech assessment' prior to getting any vaccination. My dog had three expensive. Appointments three months in a row. However I was still charged an extra $30 while some tech looked at my dog's eyes, ears, teeth and felt his fur 'to make sure he was healthy enough for his vaccine,' which seems utter nonsense and just a way for extra revenue. My dog is severely anxious at the vet's, and this unnecessary assessment' made him terrified as time went on, making the the final vaccination very difficult to perform and requiring an additional employee to help strongly hold him in place.
