Along with our lilac bush, I also got a few new herb plants like basil, cilantro and somer curly parsley for myself. Everything is growing strong and healthy and I flourishing! They have a big beautiful space filled with flowers and plants both inside and outside, as well as a big greenhouse filled with their veggie and herb plants. I could spend a good chunk of time just wandering, but the more time I spend the more money I spend, of course. The team was very helpful and answered all of our questions and helped load the bigger lilac bush into our car. We'll be back the next time I get a hankering for more plants!

Noticed however different prices on each. We said we would purchase both for the same (lower by $10) price. The woman (not Penny) said ok. When it came time to pay for our items she said "no". She didnt even honor the 1 at the $10 lower price. Needless to say, we left and did not buy the clothing. They lost a $200 sale by not honoring the amount on the tag and not honoring a price adjustment on the other item. This is terrible customer service.

The owner often responded with a smirk and a condescending tone when questions were asked, which made communication feel disrespectful and unhelpful. A worker also filmed me during the interaction, which was unprofessional and intrusive. My hose was unnecessarily removed from the spigot during the job without asking, causing damage to the connector that had to be replaced. Scheduling was also poorly handled--I called in April and was told planting after Mother's Day would be fine, but the work was delayed and not completed until almost summer. Overall, due to poor communication, lack of professionalism, property handling issues, delays, and high pricing, I would strongly not recommend this company.

I showed and asked the repairman which sample matches the table and it was NOT the shade I picked. The second time I told Paul the shade is wrong, he told me that if he has to order a new table it will be the last one even if the table is gauged, scratched, etc he will NOT fix the table. As a senior, Paul intimidated me, I kept the 2nd table, afraid the 3rd table's condition would be worse. The table is not hardwood. It is easily nicked. The table is rarely used and is covered with a tablecloth all time. Over-priced, poor craftsmanship and quality control and poor business attitude. I asked Royce, sales, how to clean the table and didn't know the answer. A waste of money. Would definitely not recommend this store.

The staff is bare bones & can be very busy at times with set design folks from the entertainment industry. They don't have the capacity to respond to inquiries via social media, so an in person visit is necessary (and lots of fun!). Be patient. Just do your digging and take photos of what you are interested in with your phone. The shop operates in a brocante style (like if you've ever watched Dick & Angel shop for architectural salvage in France on "Escape to the Chateau"). You show your photos to the shop owner Carolyn at the main checkout and she comes up with a price for your selections. I know it seems weird, but when you see the shop you will understand that there is no way in h*ll they could possibly put individual prices on everything. This is not Facebook marketplace and the pricing for some items will reflect this shop's proximity to NYC. The owner's passion and commitment to recycling and repurposing just about everything from a wide variety and time periods is admirable. I was able to find a perfect match for my 1890's porch door thanks to their collection of treasures. Payment is cash or Venmo.
