Nothing caught my eye when I was looking around but like I said, it was busy in there so obviously this store has good finds. I would give it another chance and go back maybe on a week day when it's less busy and I can really take my time looking around, but my main take away would be to remember cash! She mentioned that it was her favorite store and an absolute "must visit" whenever she was in the area. Well, after stepping foot inside, I immediately understood why she felt that way. The shop was so meticulously curated with all kinds of unique gifts that you would not find anywhere else. These were not cheesy Asbury souvenirs, but expertly crafted pieces to display in your home, to wear as accessories, to give to your pet, and so much more. We both purchased several items that caught our eyes and made sure to praise the selection when talking to the cashier. I will definitely be adding this to my own "must visit" list going forward.

The items are in fantastic condition here, it feels like you're shopping in an upscale consignment shop but with better prices! The prices range based on the item, for example many of the pants and tops were $7 while a pair of like-new loafers were $20, but originally $70 from DSW. I also spotted some Nike sneakers for $12, so as I said it depends on the item and condition but very reasonable and affordable prices. They also have a beautiful selection of glass and crystal decor and glassware. The staff here definitely cares about what is put out on the racks as all of the clothing was in great condition. There's also a fitting room which I appreciated a lot. Like I said, definitely feels curated without the high price tags. While shopping I also noticed that many customers seemed to be regulars and were known by the woman, Rose, who was working. To me, that says a lot! Rose was very welcoming when I shared that it was my first time in the store. I also loved that they had a section where a local artist of the month can sell their work. This is so unique and community oriented, it really felt special. Parking was easy and there's a very cute cafe next door so I would definitely recommend swinging in if you're in the area! The staff is bare bones & can be very busy at times with set design folks from the entertainment industry. They don't have the capacity to respond to inquiries via social media, so an in person visit is necessary (and lots of fun!). Be patient. Just do your digging and take photos of what you are interested in with your phone. The shop operates in a brocante style (like if you've ever watched Dick & Angel shop for architectural salvage in France on "Escape to the Chateau"). You show your photos to the shop owner Carolyn at the main checkout and she comes up with a price for your selections. I know it seems weird, but when you see the shop you will understand that there is no way in h*ll they could possibly put individual prices on everything. This is not Facebook marketplace and the pricing for some items will reflect this shop's proximity to NYC. The owner's passion and commitment to recycling and repurposing just about everything from a wide variety and time periods is admirable. I was able to find a perfect match for my 1890's porch door thanks to their collection of treasures. Payment is cash or Venmo.

Also, as a serious antique bottle collector - I was slightly annoyed that I was not able to view their whole collection since it was blocked off by dozens of snack trays.
