Went to opening night for the 2012 season, and completely enjoyed the performance! Regarding the conductor....He added so much by giving insights into the music. For example, one piece was converted for a symphony from four-handed piano pieces. In addition to describing this change, he had the pianist play a small portion followed by the entire symphony playing the same portion. Hearing the transformation made the piece more interesting. I will definitely be going back!!! And, here's the thing; get the "cheap seats". It's a small concert hall; the last row ain't that far back. And if you want to be truly adventurous (super cheap) during the warmer summer nights, bring a blanket and a picnic, and sit outside - you'll be under the stars while listening to the beautiful music.

We were left to admire the artist's work and envision what it might look like in our space. These are not ordinary pieces, but make a statement of beauty and artistry. The owner, Brian, came and hung my art yesterday and I am thrilled. Earlier in the day, I had called Sam about my delivery window. It was her day off, but she immediately returned my call. It's just a fun and interesting stop when you visit Breckenridge. And, the pieces of art are amazing. My friends ended up purchasing artwork, as well, for their new home in Glenwood Springs. Thanks to Sam (and Brian) it was a great experience, which means I will treasure my artwork that much more.

The artists are local and there was such a variety available! Quite a few pieces were so stunning and inspirational to view that I had a hard time leaving. We have been friends for 26 years and we took a girls getaway to Breckenridge. I can't begin to say enough positive things about your establishment! The martinis were absolutely scrumptious. Christian is a dedicated young man, and as I told him he is like "an old soul in a young body". I mean that with the highest regard! He is completely squared away, he was personable, kind, and friendly while still tending to all of the guests that were there. One thing that impressed me the most is how he kept his bar so organized.....he has an incredible attention to detail... before he served any drink, he put a straw in it, pulled it out with his finger held over the top of the straw and sampled a taste of the drink, and then would throw the straw away. I've only seen this done at a few establishments, which I can tell you Cecilia is at the top of the list and the epitome of a wonderful experience! The only thing I would ask in return is that the owner of Cecilia's please recognize Christian for all of his efforts. Too often in life, people are very quick to complain about a negative experience and as a result, no one will take the time to reward positive experiences. Cons: onion rings massively over fried and tasted frozen, not fresh. Nachos had barely any toppings and the chicken was in a ball in the corner of the plate; not spread out evenly. Burger was burnt badly and unedible. Eric's has been a go-to staple for us for 10 years, not any more.

The place inside is small, but its still spacious enough that you're not crammed against the other tables. From the moment you're walking up to the place it calls your attention cause its located in the historic Gold Pan Saloon. And the decor inside follows that rustic saloon winery vibes with barrel decors and a crazy ceiling design. They have a great bar area for tastings or a glass of wine as well. I opted for the wine flight, which was great. It included 3 different types of red wines and they were each delicious. My fav was the cabernet franc. It was the best of the 3 for me. For food we went with the Red Rocker charcuterie board and it was great. They pick the 2 cheeses and 2 proteins, which are a rotating selection, along with pickled veggies and a spread with homemade wine tortilla chips. What I love about it is that you can tell the board is freshly made when it's ordered. I was also able to try a piece of the bruschetta with Poached Figs, Whipped Goat Cheese, Honey & Pine Nuts and it was to die for. If goat cheese is your thing, do not skip out on this one. The whipped cheese is crazy, Amazing texture and flavor. We stopped by a couple of days later for a glass of wine and it was packed but they were nice enough to let us stand on the side enjoying a glass till a seat opened up at the bar. I got a glass of their "house red" which is divine. Great body and perfectly balanced. And did I mention it's only $10?!? Totally worth it. Perfect place to relax and unwind.
