I didn't get out of the Birmingham airport until 1:30 am but he was ready for me and took me straight to my hotel in Tuscaloosa. He seemed like a really interesting person with lots of stories to tell; normally I would have had a conversation with him but I needed to get some sleep because I had early morning appointments in Tuscaloosa. As bad as my flights had been, everything with Crown was smooth smooth smooth; I would definitely use their service again.

This led us to believe it could be two parties total, one other and our daughter. The dictionary defines 'someone' as singular, not plural. Lesson learned, we'll make sure to have all potential scenarios understood in the future. Made it to flight on-time, but disappointing experience. It was blowing hot air on a hot day in Huntsville, AL. We were not pleased with the sweaty mess the bridal party was as we made our way to take pictures, the church ceremony, and the reception. Hair was frizzy and had to be fixed several times on both sides, makeup was getting smeared, and the men in their tuxedos were drenched. You can imagine how frustrating this was as we would not have done with this service if we had known the AC was not going to be working AS IT WAS ADVERTISED TO BE. The driver stated she was "fixing" it on the day of the wedding and NOTHING was changed. Not only this, but it was advertised that there was Bluetooth/radio. This was also FALSE. No music was played on their end. Thankfully, we had a speaker. This company and their charter was arguably the worst experience of the day. After sending an email the day after the wedding to Kim, the manager, I have still not received a response. Radio silence just like their charter that they falsely advertised. I should've known better after that miserable experience on our wedding day. I paid the full amount for a service that was not fully given. There are self-guided tours, guided tours for groups and hands-on classroom experiences. You can meet an actual NASA scientist, learn about our solar system in the planetarium, and enjoy the various rides that are included with admission. From the moment you walk in, you're immersed in the story of humanity's journey beyond Earth. The exhibits walk you through our humble beginnings in rocketry, the intensity of the Space Race against the Soviets, the tragedy of Apollo 1, and the evolution of technology that eventually put humans on the Moon. You'll see command modules, landers, rovers, military applications, the role animals played in early testing, quarantine procedures after splashdown, and in-depth looks at International Space Station and Skylab. And then there's the jaw-dropping moment when you enter the massive building housing the fully displayed Saturn V rocket. It's hard to put into words how enormous and impressive it is stretched out above you. Seeing it in its entirety is worth the visit alone. We easily spent five hours here -- arriving shortly after opening and leaving about an hour before closing -- and still felt like we could have spent more time reading and exploring. There are over 1,500 artifacts on display. Every corner has something fascinating. One of my favorite parts? Actual rocket scientists were onsite at the Saturn V exhibit, ready and excited to answer questions. Talking to people who genuinely worked in the field adds a depth you just can't replicate with signage alone. I also highly recommend catching a show in the planetarium. We saw the presentation on the James Webb Space Telescope, and it was incredible. Pro tip: get there about 20 minutes early and line up. The shows are popular, and early arrival means better seats. Bonus -- you can bring in popcorn, candy, soda, or Icees if you're feeling snacky. Parking is huge and well organized. While they cap attendance each day at several hundred visitors, we had no issue getting tickets. The onsite cafeteria looked large with several food options. I noticed vegetarian choices but didn't confirm vegan availability. If I had one small critique, it would be that I wish there were even more actual flown-in-space artifacts. There are some, but many displays are trainers and simulators. That said, I understand that many space-flown items aren't recoverable, so replicas and trainers make sense. I also appreciated that the museum doesn't stop in the past. It brings the story into the present, covering modern space ventures like Blue Origin and SpaceX. Bottom line: this place is absolutely worth the trip. Plan for at least four hours -- five if you really want to dive in. There is so much to read, see, and experience. Space nerd or not, you'll leave inspired.

Spirits are available for sale at the distillery but in comparing prices to our local liquor store they were actually more expensive. One is made and sold only on site. Tennessee Rye whiskey finished in table syrup barrels at $44.75 Unfortunately we were not able to sample it so decided against purchase. VIsitor center was well laid out. great staff and wonderful exhibits. Lots of walking and stairs but they tell you that in advance. Also visited the Squire house next door - great staff and wonderful displays as well as merchandise specifically for Squires! Highly recommend a trip to JD Distillery!
