The entire experience was outstanding from start to finish! The whole team at both Park City locations was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. Special shoutout to Matt, Craig, and Natalie--especially Craig, who is a true expert in ski boot fitting. He asked thoughtful questions about our skiing ability and style, took precise measurements, and somehow nailed the perfect boots for both of us on the first try. We couldn't believe how comfortable and dialed-in they felt! No one rushed us, every question was answered thoroughly, and we were encouraged to try different options until we felt 100% confident in our purchase. They treated our time and money like it was their own, which goes a long way and is rare these days. We even had our 6-month-old baby with us, and the team was so kind and welcoming--helping keep him entertained throughout the process. Outstanding customer service, expert ski boot fitting, great demo ski options, and just really good people. We left feeling like we had new friends in Park City! Highly recommend Sun & Ski Sports to anyone visiting or local who wants top-tier ski gear and service. I truly can't say enough great things about this place and their entire team.

I was ready to buy a new pair of Nordica Santa Ana skis, after researching on my own…read more I called Christy's Sports in Park City, Utah at 6622 N Landmark Drive, and talked to REED. He informed me that his store did not have but he would research other stores, and would call me back. When I didn't hear from him the next day, I called HIM back. He said he did find what I wanted in CO, but I would have to come in and pay in person. I went in, and found Reed, and thanked him for finding the skis. I asked about bindings and he brought out a set. He proceeded to tell me he would have the skis sent from Colorado to HIS store and then he would send the bindings and skis to me. During this entire interaction, he acted like he was "doing me a favor". He almost had an attitude of detached and "could-care-less what you do" behavior. Then I asked if there would be free shipping. He told me in a curt manner that no, he would be charging me for shipping. It was up to the store manager's discretion to decide about charging for shipping, and that free shipping was only for online purchases. Me: "So EVERY store charges shipping? Which store has the Nordicas?" Reed: "Beaver Creek" Me: OK, can we have the skis sent directly to my home from there and can I talk to the manager at Beaver Creek?" Reed agreed and called Beaver Creek. He put me on the phone with John, who was the complete opposite of Reed in terms of his tone and demeanor! He was super helpful, he said of course he will ship the skis to my home and NO shipping charges. I told him we skied in CO and he said please come to Beaver Creek and that I would love it. I told him I would see him next winter. I told Reed I would NOT be purchasing the bindings from him because of his rude attitude. As I had gotten previous help (on another visit to Christy's) from BETSY, who was absolutely helpful, knowledgeable and gracious, I walked out after telling Reed that "he could learn a thing or two about customer service from the other employees." If someone in upper management at Christy's reads this, it would benefit your company to think about weeding out bad seeds like Reed to preserve the reputation of Christy's. That was one of the worst examples of customer service I have ever encountered. Word of mouth spreads quickly.

Not only understood they on the phone what I wanted, they were confirming technical questions as needed, able to discuss mounting positions of the binding and their advantages/disadvantages, then willing to do the job. On top, they did a test mount on an old ski to confirm before ruining my flat ski! There is NO shop around which would go that extra mile - all delivered with a smile!

I just had an unreal, terrible customer service experience at Marty's Ski and Board Shop. I rented…read moresome skis as part of a demo, where if I liked the skis I could buy a new one from them and they would discount 2 rental days from the price of the skis. The price tag on the ski was listed as $559. Two rental days = $102. Simple math. I should pay, per their own rules, $559-$102 = $457. For some reason, their guy at the counter is having a hard time pricing the skis (even though the sale tag is clear). I then point out to him where the bar code is. The skis, for some reason, scan at $700. He then wants to sell the skis for the listed price of $559 because it's cheaper than the scanned price. Not only that, but the guy acted like he was doing me a great service for honoring their own sticker price. That was not the deal. I would not have demoed those skies if I knew they would be this shady. In fact, I would not recommend renting from them at all. They don't honor their own rules. No integrity. He brought over a girl whom I assume is the manager. She tells him to honor the deal, and then walks it back. She then tells me that the reduced price sticker was added to skies AFTER I took the demo out. She said that the price tag was $599 when I took the demo out (keep in mind that she never offers me the $599 - $102 deal, so clearly she's just fishing for excuses to draw more money out of me). But even then... she KNEW I had those skis out on demo. Why would she lower the price??? But, she did not lower the price. She lied. I remember the $559 sticker. I then told her my wife had found those skis online for $480. She told me she could price match if I showed her the site. Ends up I was wrong and the online price was $525. I didn't want to give them that much money. They deserve zero cents from me.
