Just show up a little early to pay and sign a waiver. Classes are $15 each but there are various packages available. The studio space is one big rectangle, with props and a desk at the front, and a bathroom and a piano at the back. The ceiling was painted a soothing shade of turquoise. The only slight detraction were sounds from the Mexican restaurant next door. Found the Hatha 1 class with Katharine relaxing and satisfying, felt super stretched out after. Thanks Yogafly!

The space itself is amazing, but the real gift is Peach. Her teaching is excellent, and she has truly created a yoga community in the city of Auburn. She's knowledgable, approachable, and very intelligent in how she can simplify some intimidating things and make them available to students of all levels. On top of that, she leads a wonderful teacher training and knows how to hire responsible and knowledgable teachers. Peach's background and training are impressive and it shows in every class she teaches. Whether you're a long time practitioner or a first timer, this is a teacher you will absolutely learn from. They offer a few adult classes as well as a variety of classes for kids.This studio reminded me of my studio I went to growing up. The girls in the class were very close and small town. The class did get off topic a little bit which happened at my studio as well. I took the lyrical/contemporary class on Thursdays 6:30-7:30. I wish it was an hour and a half. The girls in the class ranged in ages from high school to college. The class consisted of a warm up, turns, leaps, and choreography. I think that the choreography could have been taught a little quicker. Considering this was a local studio and I don't think they get much drop in traffic everyone was very nice. I think I might have been a bit of a distraction during class - some of the girls kept asking me questions to get to know me. It was sweet, but I just wanted to dance. Drop in class is $15, monthly is $55 for first class, add a 2nd for $25/mo and a 3rd for $20. I will be back for the class again next week.

It's been 7 years since my first visit to James E. Martin Aquatics Center. It was great to get…read moreback. My fondest memories are of my young son swimming with Auburn Alum, Olympic medalist and TV commentator Rowdy Gaines at a week long camp directed by former Auburn Head Coach Brett Hawke. Parking can be a challenge for visitors. The closest areas are reserved for faculty and students. There is parking in the nearby football lot. The facility although dated to the mid 90's is in great condition. The primary pool and diving well is for Auburn swim and dive team. However, faculty and students can use the pool. The spectator area is marvelous and spans the entire length of the pool and well. The Olympic size pool is 50 meters with movable bulkhead, platform diving and well. The aquatic complex consist of approximately 145,000 gallons of swimming capability. The Long Course pool has eight lanes for competition with depths of 7-8 feet for greater speed. The facility is maintained to high standards and immaculate. Auburn is a fabulous city with the Auburn campus meshing into one big happy community. War Eagle!

The Southeastern Raptor Center, formerly known as the Southeastern Raptor Rehabilitation Center, is…read morea wonderful organization that's part of Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to rehabbing various birds of prey brought to them by the public and elsewhere, the Center puts on local and regional educational programs which are fun, family-friendly, photo-op-filled affairs. The highly recommended "Football, Fans and Feathers" program occurs Fridays before home games and for a mere $5, you can learn about and meet several resident birds including owls, vultures, hawks, and the famous eagles who fly before Auburn football games. These truly are beautiful and magnificent birds. Sometimes it can get way crowded, so be sure to get there early!
