I've been coming to Back to Basics for over 6 months and it's truly a great facility. The front desk staff is always so friendly and kind. I have rotator cuff issues and I typically see Deborah for massage therapy and Dr. Salomone for adjustment (I also see Dr. Bartz for adjustment depending on schedule). Deborah is very knowledgeable and knows exactly where to go and what to do to release my muscle tension and Drs. I heart my chiropractor. I really really do. Most people who utilize a chiropractor will understand me that I had back pain so bad I cried every day. Horrible to the point that I thought I would need some kind of surgery. I had been having chronic back pain since I was 12 years old (I am now 28). When my employer finally decided to add chiropractic care to my insurance plan, I came here to Yelp to help find the one to hopefully cure me. Back to Basics popped up first and based on the glowing reviews I decided to give them a try. I entered my info onto the website and I got a phone call back within the hour! Talk about fast! I made an appointment quick, fast and in a hurry. On my first appt Dr. Salomone interviewed me about my back pain history, my health and my diet. He then explained what he was going to do and the process that he recommends that you follow. I felt better after a couple of adjustments! I've been going to Back to Basics for ohhhh I don't know, maybe 2 years now. Very personable and knowledgeable staff. I initally found the office on yelp and seeing as at the time it was in walking distance of where I lived I figured I'd give it a whirl. (My prior chiropractor was in East Cobb and it just took waaaaaaay too long to get there). Dr. Salomone has been nothing short of fantastic. Again he's very personable with his clients and has a genuine heart for helping people not only get better but educating them on what they can do to help themselves. The office is update with easy check in and records your accessment of your pains or problems for that particular visit. I can usually schedule on the fly as well which is helpful with my work schedule. Last but not least Samantha is the on site masseuse who is also wonderful but books up quickly. You'll need to schedule an appointment with her in advance. Of my chiropractors over the year the Back to Basics office has by far exceeded my expectations and I've seen the most results with them. I have been a patient of Dr. Sebastian's for several years now and couldn't be happier. He is an amazing chiropractor and really listens to your concerns and addresses them accordingly. After weeks of neck and shoulder pain, I looked on yelp to find a new chiropractor to help with my pain. After reading a few reviews, I decided to try it out. Thankfully they accepted same day new patients. After a few adjustments, I instantly felt some pain relief. The next day my pain eased from extremely painful to a very slight pain. Doctor Sebastian was very knowledgeable and very tentative to my needs. Michele is the assistant manager and she was extremely kind getting me all registered in as a new patient. What a fantastic practice! Excellent chiropractor and massage therapist team. My husband introduced me to Dr. Sebastien Salomone when I complained of tension and pain in my back from sitting in a chair at my desk all day (and just poor posture in general). He took the time to listen to my history, pains, etc and prescribed a plan to get my back and body into better health which has now led into 'maintenance mode'. I get an hour massage every time before I get an adjustment - I felt that this has really helped me keep my body and back in great shape. I love the Back to Basics family! Coming here was the best decision I've ever made. Charlotte along with Tamika and Greg has given me my life back. I suffer from chronic migraines (15 attacks a month) and for the longest time I just kept taking the medication prescribed to me but no matter what medication or how much of it I took I still wasn't feeling any better. Charlotte help me discover that the root cause was due to my spine since I've been getting adjusted regularly I would go months with out a migraine. Charlotte is very skilled in her craft,she amazes me every time I get adjusted. She is also such a sweetheart. Let's not forget the massage team. Tamika is my all time favorite massage therapist. She is absolutely exceptional. She displays an extensive knowledge of massage therapy, always finding those little knots you didn't even know was there. She capable of switch from light or extremely deep tissue massage which I prefer the latter. She puts in the extra mile by also stretching me to allow more flexibility in my joints which I greatly appreciate. My quality of life has increased so much since coming to see Charlotte and Tamika. Greg is also nothing sort of exceptional; when I was suffer from shoulder joint pain for several months, he would always bring back mobility in my shoulder until it finally healed. Can't say enough good things about this place! Since having 2 surgical procedures on my foot (requiring me to be in a boot for more than 4 mos), I have been experiencing lower back pain, which without treatment turn into inflammation, pinched nerve, and debilitating headaches. Dr. Solomon works towards getting you healthy and feeling better, so that he see's you less, not the alternative. I have gone to other chiropractors and to be honest my previous experiences turned me off to the entire idea of chiropractic medicine. But the staff at Back to Basics is extremely professional, helpful and friendly. Dr. Solomon uses more traditional methods while doing an adjustment, as opposed to the hydraulic table but he provides you with tools to put into practice to aide in health prevention. I have now referred 2 of my friends who love the doctor and the staff. read more

Dr. Blanchet and the massage therapists here are awesome. I have scoliosis, and Dr. Blanchet has taken that into consideration in a way that other chiropractors have not. After each visit, I leave feeling better. Over eight months or so of adjustments and massages, my daily pain is down to little or nothing and I have much more flexibility. I walk, move, and stretch a lot easier. The service at the front desk is great and the costs are reasonable. The lobby and all of the rooms are always very clean. Plus, there is ample parking! I've been to my fair share of chiros and this place is ok. My preferred chiropractor is not open on the weekends, so that has led me into several other offices in Atlanta in search for someone as good as my preferred Dr but I have yet to find that place. I came in with a sore neck and sinus issues from a week long cold and allergies combo. When I left, I definitely felt better, but the adjustments were painful and I don't typically have pain when being adjusted. PROS: - accepts insurance (in network for me) - location (right off I75 ITP) - nice office - open on Saturdays - friendly staff CONS: - my adjustments were painful Overall, this is great place to stop in on short notice because they can typically get you in same day or next day but there are absolutely better Chiros in ATL. read more

First time goin to a chiropractor in about a year. My back and neck were very much in pain and tight. I scheduled an appointment after doing a little research and finding out this particular office was covered under my insurance. I was lucky enough to get in the day i called. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. I signed in and shortly after i was called to come back. After the Dr. asked me a few questions about my pains and how long it's been goin on we jumped right into some electric therapy. It was great i definitely needed it and felt a difference. He then adjusted me and although it was a little painful In the moment, my back and neck needed it. I felt sooo much better as the day went on. This is a great office. I've been for massage and chiropractic care several times. I've seen a few different massage therapists and the main chiropractor Sebastien. They're all great. Always leave there feeling wonderful. One time I was confused about how much was due at the end of my appointment because I went in for a different service than normal and didn't understand my insurance coverage fully. The receptionist must have relayed my comments on the way out to the chiropractor because he called personally the next day to check in and see if there was anything he could do to make sure everything was up to my expectation. Really it was just due to my own misunderstanding, but it was really nice that he took the time to check back. Great place - highly recommend. They really know what they're doing here. read more

Dr. Axts is fantastic. After a long run on a Sunday, I was having a lot of neck pain. I randomly called in to see if I could get a last minute appointment and although they were closing in 20 minutes, he told me to come on in. He not only adjusted my neck but helped correct a misaligned ankle from a sprain a few months back that was part of the cause. Over the last few weeks, he has helped reduce the joint pain I was having in my neck from sitting long hours at work and my ankle is getting stronger from the exercises he taught me.
