I referred the friend to the Parkhursts, because it was hard to see her in so much pain. They were very kind and gracious to her. It turned out to be a very fortuitous idea, because it worked out well for the friend. I would later refer my husband to them. Dr. Amberly Parkhurst personally called me to check up on my husband after his first appointment...to see if the adjustment helped his back pain. That act of kindness meant a lot to me. I, also, have received superb massage therapy from their stellar staff member, Andrea. Setting up an appointment has always been very quick. My adjustments were always done very efficiently and with attention to detail. We have referred them to friends for about eight years. I went to their new place of business this year recently. Their new office building was easy to find and well furnished. Their waiting room and lobby were spacious, minimal, comfortable, and provided coffee and water for clients. I liked the quiet , welcoming, and peaceful ambience. On that visit, I found out that my rib was dislocated and the reason why I was experiencing a lot of mysterious pain. I just moved to this area. 2 days later, i had a sharp pain in my back that went down to my foot. Sciatica? I was not sure. I've never had this happen before. I got to the point that i could not move when the pain started on day 4. I used Yelp to find a chiropractor in this area. Up came Dr. Wakeman. I was not too far from this office so i called and made an appointment. They got me in and i spoke to the Dr. He made some recommendations that proved to me, this guy knows what he is talking about. I will say this, i believe that, had i not visited Dr Wakeman, i would not be well today. Within a few visits, he got the pain to subside and gave me hope for a cure. The entire staff is awesome and very caring. They have some massage therapists and they are all very good and experienced. This office is the only chiropractic service allowed in the medical building where they are located. They come highly recommended by some other Dr's in the building. That should say something about this Dr and his practice. Anyway, i am very pleased with the service i have received here. This is the kind of practice that, if you've never visited a chiropractor and you need that service, he's the guy for you. Have no fear, they will help you.
