First thing I stopped into off the Frankfurt Haupbahnof because it had an open atmosphere. It reminded me of a less nicer version of the Paris Baquette Bakeries back here in Queens, New York. I did not recall cake or deserts, it's primary service is baked goods, sandwiches and breads set in a fast food like dining establishment. But as a tourist, it is cheap and the open atmosphere would be acceptable for someone looking for a croissant and a cup of coffee for one euro and it goes up from there. I tried a sandwich, croissant and what would be a cheap round pizza for each a bit over a euro. Nothing says quick bite and an okay cup of coffee while on the run. read more
