The programs assist all the students in exploring and honing their musical abilities --and beyond that, young musicians are able to form meaningful alliances with their bandmates and their instructors. Kids have shared with me that they had been anxious to perform until they were supported and encouraged by their teachers. At School of Rock, these students built the confidence to take the leap to performance!! It is so exciting to see the growth and camaraderie at the seasonal shows! I see it in all the kids!! The guitar tech at other shop kept trying to fix the electronics in my guitar, It kept failing. 3 different times I brought it into the other shop, and each time the tech there said it was something different. So after the 4th time, something went wrong with the electronics, and $150 later, I decided to find another shop. Enter Centerstage Music. I met Greg. he was friendly and helpful. He took the guitar apart right in front of me and said let check out the wiring, it might not need anything(He was trying to save me money on electronics, instead of trying to sell them me). I stopped him and explained after getting the run around from the other guy I just wanted to replace the electronics just so I didn't have to worry about them, plus it was an upgrade. He understood. In less than 18 hours he texted me it was ready to pick up. It was priced more than fair. He had me plug into one of the many cabinets that he had available and made sure I was happy with the voicing of the pickups. Let me tell you this thing sounds amazing. Not only are will they work on your gear, but they are mainly a rehearsal space and recording studio. I'm, not the typical guy who writes reviews ever(I wouldn't waste my time writing a negative one about the last place), I don't why, I just felt the need to write this one. My family was very happy with the service we received here last week. Our original intent was to…read morefind a rental violin for Kid2, as well as see what they might have in stock for kid1. Upon entry we were greeted by Omar, the store manager. He immediately sized my daughter, and went to the stock room to find a few that were her size. For a full school year rental of a junior violin, the cost was $90 + $20 service fee (tuning cleaning) + $5 rosin, a total of $115 before tax for 9 months rental ( End Sept to End Oct). Additionally, there is a grace period of 10 days after the final June 20 contract date that you can return the instrument without penalty. That takes a little bit of stress off our backs to rush to the store for the return. Given that Kid2 had never played the violin, but now needed one for school, I appreciated Omar's knowledge and feedback on things we needed, and unnecessary, there was never any pressure or upsell here. Meanwhile, another staff member, Ricky, was patient with Hubs and Kid1 as they were perusing the guitar section. While the store had a nice variety of full size acoutic & electric guitars, they only had 1 type of junior-size guitar ($79 in 2 colors, red & blue). Both Omar & Ricky were very patient with all my questions, and even allowed me to see what they had in stock when I asked about accordians (which, FYI, they generally do not carry new, and they only have old accordians in stock to sell AS-IS). We were happy with the service we received at this store. Highly recommend them if you're in need of a rental instrument, especially for kids.

The entire staff and faculty are amazing. You can easily tell that everyone at Brightstar loves what they do and is 100% committed to the children in their care. Our boy has grown so much academically, socially, and emotionally. Even in the challenging times of COVID, Lori and her team have have worked tirelessly in providing accurate and timely communications, adhered to strict safety protocols, and always do so with a smile on their faces. This is an incredibly stressful time, but somehow they don't let that impact the children. You know your in good hands when you show up to pick up your child and he tells you to come back later because he wants to stay for aftercare to play with his friends.
