I admit, I place travel agents on the list of dying professions. When we can all get onto kayak or…read moretravelocity, do we really need people with big desktop computers and fast typing fingers to book our trips for us? So you can imagine my skepticism when my husband suggested that we book our tickets to India through Apollo. We walked in and were greeted by two brothers (I think of them as Goofus and Gallant from Highlights) -- we sat down with one (Goofus) and he quickly presented us with fares that were much cheaper than the ones we had found online (in large part because they build the trip out of segments from many different airlines- this ended up saving us at least $450 per ticket). The downside is that both Goofus and Gallant are always plugged into the telephone- in fact, they are always wearing headsets, so there are times when they'll be looking at you saying "and then you want to connect through Mumbai" and then they'll say "Yes, Ms. Shah, I have your reservation right here." There's just no boundary between the customer sitting at the desk and the customer on the phone. Once you get past that though, Apollo is the place for reasonably priced India tickets.

This company is a scam! The sales rep Jeremy "Jay" Rogers lies about the discounts on hotels. He…read moreguaranteed they are least 20 to 30 percent. In hindsight, I should have had him show them to me. They start off wanting $8,000for the travel package, but reduce it down to $3,000. That should've been our warning not to buy! Jay will say anything to mislead you and make the sale. We took a trip to CA and I got a measly $20 off of a five day stay. Wow! I can't believe this company is allowed to get away with that. I tried to resolve it with the Laurie, the vice president, but she more or less told me "it is what it is."She said Apollo Adventures has 300,000 clients. Are they happy clients or did they get ripped off? Regardless of what they tell you, and after paying over $3000 for a fee to join and $299 annual membership fee, you can expect to receive 2%- 5% less than prices you will find online. Don't let this company scam you!

I had a wonderful experience joining a memorable Japan tour organized by Feti Travel in June 2026!…read moreThe trip was very well organized, and everything was arranged thoughtfully, which made the entire journey comfortable and enjoyable. One of the things I appreciated most was how cost-effective the tour was. Considering the itinerary, transportation, accommodations, and overall experience, I felt that we received excellent value for the money. It was a great way to visit Japan without having to spend too much time and effort planning everything ourselves. The tour allowed us to see many beautiful and interesting places in Japan, experience the local culture, and enjoy delicious food along the way. The schedule was also well planned and the local tour guide was so friendly and personable, so we really enjoyed our time during this trip. Overall, I am very happy that I joined in this tour. I would definitely recommend Feti Travel to anyone since I know this agency organize a lot of tours at different countries, especially those looking for a well-organized and affordable tour with great value for the price.

Since we had some circumstances that could have delayed the process, Shirley prepared us. I think without assistance, the process would have taken us longer. From start to finish, it took us 3 weeks total.

My 13 year old daughter and I just returned from a trip to London, Paris, Switzerland, and Germany…read more We made beautiful memories together and I will always be thankful that we took the opportunity to travel to Europe together. Even though we enjoyed our trip, we would not travel with EF again. The whole trip felt very rushed and low budget. The positive aspects of the trip are that our tour guide was really nice and knowledgeable. And we got to see a lot in a short time period. Now for the negatives, which unfortunately outweigh the positives... Food was really disappointing. The whole group was served the same dish for all dinners with no options or menu to choose from. At least 6 of the 8 meals we had were chicken and rice. Bottled water and other beverages were never offered and the water there was awful tasting. There was nothing specific to the culture with our meals, which I found incredibly disappointing. Hotels were low budget and really far outside of the cities we were visiting. Most stays were about an hour outside of town. Some of the hotels were also really dirty. Communication was really poor. I would have liked to have a set itinerary with descriptions and times. It was more like follow the leader.

Got back from peru just a few days ago. Our first group travel experience and yes Peru was amazing…read morebut the accommodations not so much. - Putting children at risk by having them bunk w/ behavioral special needs children - anyone w/ special needs should either stay with a parent or a special needs teacher/ helper, someone who is trained on what to do - What kind of tour leader recommends going to the mall? That is unacceptable - would you add that to your places on the itinerary for a trip to South America??? EF EDUCATIONAL Tours takes you to the mall! For 2hrs!!! Wow. Big education. - Not give us time to grab lunch at the "beach" where we could try the famous ceviche of lima, just to hurry to the mall for 2hrs of nothing, well to eat Japanese is wildly absurb - Dinners; 1 dinner was to par the rest was low income eating for $5k ??? Not worth it. - Hotels; inconsistent wifi, no heat, electricity went out the last day while trying to get ready for our flight - Seats not together on trains, planes or even w/ our personal group - Sitting us in the airport for 2hrs after a 10hr flight, waiting for another group to arrive but took the first group to the hotel right when they landed - Forcing us to the airport early to sit us there for 6hrs bc the other group is leaving much earlier, then expecting us to land after a 6hr airport wait to a 10hr flight & now stay waiting in that airport for our next flight for another 6hrs, THIS IS SOME SORT OF SCAM. Oh here is 30 soles. Wow. - Paid for a 9 day trip & received basically a 6.5 day trip, we were just thrown on someone else's trip to give extra money to their agent. That is criminal. - Only the largest group of travel being considered for all requests/ decisions - Maybe if you are only going to consider one group dont take the money of others just for yr own profit
