Welcome to brewery #278 for me. I was very pleased with the vibe at Tangled Roots. Very nice place!…read more I sat at the bar and ordered a flight. Great service although they were a little busy. Los Pollos Hermanos Mexican lager was a good Mexican lager. Very easy to drink. Kit Kupfer amber ale had a little fruity flavor I couldn't quite place but when I looked at the beer menu it described it as "hint of peach". Yeah, I think that's it. A very light amber ale. Very nice beer! SWPFTD would enjoy this one. Midnight Mirage black IPA...ok, this was interesting. And I don't mean that in a snide way at all. It's a black IPA with a whole host of fruit flavors. Grapefruit was definitely there on the back of the tongue on the finish, as well as apricot but that was more on the nose. Not a heavily bitter IPA at all. This might be my favorite so far. Decadent Orange Dobroy Nochi imperial stout had a really good orange flavor to it. I still think the back IPA is my favorite though. I wasn't really hungry but perused the menu and ordered a starter of the fresh artisanal bread with an awesome honey butter. There was another butter with it but I forgot what it was while under the thrall of the honey butter. I ate ALL of that myself. I truly enjoyed TRB. The beers were great, the bread was excellent, and the service was good as well. If anyone is a glutton for punishment, please, follow my brewery, and distillery, reviews from across the U.S. and beyond! https://www.yelp.com/collection/-8iscFkpiiCI563-FDfwGg and if anyone is wondering who SWPFTD is you will have to check out my review of Black Market Brewing Co in Temecula, CA to understand. Yes, you will need to read into it a little to get the joke but I have confidence in you! I hope my confidence is not misplaced.

I always thought that all liquor stores were the same. Same spirits and a person to check you out…read morebehind a high counter. At least that has been what I have experienced unless I go to the big chain liquor store. Vineyard is something completely different. There are rows of spirits and a well stocked cooler. The difference here is the customer service. You will greeted when you walk in, you will get asked if you need help, they make you feel like family. Their selection is great and the staff is knowledgeable. My husband and his family that live in the area have been going there for years. This is a local business that I love to support.

This is my "go-to" place for all my liquor. This store is family owned and run. Valerie, Terry,…read moreand Jake try to be there as often as possible to listen to customer's needs. Valorie makes sure everything from wines to all different liquors and accessories are available. Terry is expert on craft brews and beer in general. My friends who do beer tell me "Terry knows his stuff". Jake is bringing in all the top shelf liquor. I prefer whiskey and Jake has ordered some specialties and full barrels that are unique. Recently, a barrel of blue popcorn whiskey from Whiskey Acres was a product that hit me by surprise. Special barrels from Elijah Craig and another from Makers Mark coming soon. Top brands like Belle Meade Bourbon as well conventional brands like Jack Daniels and Jim Beam product lines can all be bought here. You will feel like family when you visit the store and always greeted as a long lost friend.

Friends of ours have been talking about Une Année Brewery for a long time, so we were happy to have…read morefinally checked them out this weekend. The Fresh IPA was amazing. I should have tasted more, but did not because this beer was so tasty, so I stuck to that all afternoon. The venue is very child-friendly, and many board games are available. I really enjoyed the space and chill vibe. QR ordering is an option, and drinks arrived right away when one uses the online ordering system.

I've been wanting to try this place for quite a while and today my wife and I stopped in for lunch…read moreand a couple of beers. I would give the beer 5 stars, and the food a 2.5. We were seated and told that the ordering is done through a QR code you scan at your table. My scan did not work but my wife's did. The menu on the small phone was hard to really take in and appreciate the options. Because mine would not scan we had to pass her phone back and forth. I really hate QR codes and wonder why places just don't print and laminate menus. I went to the bar and actually took a photo of the beer menu above the bar and used that to order the beer. We ended up with a pulled pork sandwich and a chicken chimichurri sandwich. Beers included a sour, a Marzen, and a Kolsch. Very good beer!! My first bite of the pulled pork was one large gelatinous blob of fat!! That right there kind of killed it for me. I am not into fatty meats in the least! I've eaten lots of pulled pork and have never seen that large a concentration of fat in one dish. The chicken sandwich was good and substantial but the aioli was quite drenched on one end of the sandwich and overwhelmed all the other flavors. My plate also was not delivered with a fork or knife. A special request had to be made for that. Waitstaff was great and very helpful, but this will be a beer place and not a food place for us. I may give the food another shot some time, but I'm not in that place now. The fat-blob shock will take time to heal and with some therapeutic assistance, I may be able to try the food again. I do like Une Annee very much, I just wish my first visit was as magical as I hoped it would have been.
