Theia was AMAZING!! She was very sweet and communicated with us during the whole ultrasound which I appreciate. She made me feel comfortable during the whole 40 min session. I was nervous about the quality of the photos but they came out beautifully. Of course your hydration days leading up to your appointment plays a big role but I could not be happier with the quality of the photos Theia was able to capture! I went in at 29 weeks and we purchased the best package that was available and it was worth every penny. There's one room but it's big enough and filled with plenty of seats for friends and family. From the moment we got there the tech was really nice, friendly and answered all of our questions. She found the sex quickly. The whole vibe of the place was awesome; filled with the cutest pictures of newborn photos. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!! Baby'sClose-Up has such a special place in my heart. My first pregnancy ended up as a MMC that was found at a Baby's Close-Up appointment. Safia was so professional, caring, and knowledgeable and truly made one of the worst moments I could have experienced so much better. I returned when pregnant with my rainbow baby and got to create the most amazing memories here! We had our first ultrasound at 6 weeks because I couldn't wait until my first OB appt. We discovered the gender at 15 weeks and returned a third time for a 3D/4D scan at 34 weeks. I have never been disappointed coming here and couldn't have survived the anxiety of my pregnancy after loss without this place. We are truly happy with Safia and her team during our 17 week visit!! During times where hospitals don't allow fathers for ultrasounds and limited doctor office visits in general, this awesome place is a lifesaver. We have had losses in the past and we just like going here to take at our little one more often than scheduled with the doctor. The place feels vintage, comfy, welcoming and clean. We have been here at least 5 times over the last two months and each time we are treated extremely well. One appointment was the last of the evening and others were throughout the day. No matter the time, we've enjoyed it each time. The price is very reasonable and there are many packages available. So I went today for my ultrasound gender determination and was extremely disappointed that Safia (the owner) was not the one to do my ultrasound. I felt like her opinion I could really trust considering she was the one everyone was raving about on reviews. Also, she was the one sending me emails so I just kind of expected to see her. The woman who did our ultrasound wasn't very talkative either. My ultrasound sound was exactly 12 minutes long... I screen recorded the whole entire thing. I paid for 20 mins, and I got half. Also, I had previously tried to call this place to ask questions and schedule with absolutely NO RESPONSE OR CALL BACK. It's ridiculous. I hope this can help the business grow and flourish better but as for me, I think I need to get a second opinion. read more

I cannot day enough good things about Baby's Close-Up. The environment is warm and welcoming, with an adorable movie theater theme (our names were even written on a cute slate board in the lobby area). The space where the ultrasound is performed is very comfortable, with soft lighting and about 10 theater-style seats where your guests can watch the ultrasound on a large screen on the wall. The ultrasound technician who did my scan - i believe it was Safia - was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. She explained everything we were seeing, and when we discovered it was a bit too early to see much detail or detect a heartbeat, she offered me a re-scan in a few weeks to try again. Cannot stress how positive and fun our 3D/4D ultrasound appointment was today! Initially had an appointment scheduled last week with a different company, but they cancelled on us the day of, which we naturally were upset about (and did not reschedule with them), but after today's experience with Safia of Baby's Close Up, we are so grateful for. Everything happens for a reason! We immediately felt like family as we were warmly welcomed in by Safia, the owner. The whole place is set up like a movie theater, complete with a big screen, ample theater style seats, and candy/snacks for purchase. We chose the feature presentation package, so we were able to choose music to set our DVD to. There are SO many music options-all lullaby renditions-so there is literally something for everyone! Safia is highly experienced, licensed and certified (be careful-not all ultrasound technologists in this business are) and knows absolutely ALL the tricks of the trade to try and get the best possible images of baby. She is so friendly and personable, and really made our day. We upgraded the size of our heartbeat animal that came with the package, and purchased two more small animals for each of the grandmas. There are a lot of different animals to choose from, so again, something for everyone. We also have a CD of all the images from the appointment that we can print out. We will definitely be back for another appointment in a few weeks (I am 31 weeks now, so we still have a little time to get another good look before she makes her grand entrance)! Went today for my 4D ultrasound. I am 33 weeks 4 days and my baby boy was not cooperating too much since he kept putting his hands on his face covering it. Safia was super nice and clearly was very knowledgeable. She kept trying to make baby move his hands out of his face until he did!! I loved that everything is by appointments and there is absolutely nobody else there while having your appointment done. Dont hesitate to make an appointment with her. She has the best prices and its really WORTH it! Great DVD of the whole baby's ultrasound and great pictures! We JUST did an ultrasound here a few hours ago, and it was such an amazing experience! I am 30 weeks, and I have tried out every other ultrasound place in town. Baby's close-up is by far the best in Jacksonville. They are very professional and friendly. I did NOT feel rushed, and I definitely feel like I got SO MUCH for my money! We are military, and my favorite thing was the fact that they have live streaming for free. So everyone in my family could watch from home! I WILL be coming back again before this pregnancy is over, and I definitely recommend this place to everyone. Let me say this. I Love to read Reviews!! I truly believe everyone has their own experience and you can't believe everything you see or read, because customers have bad attitudes as well. I've been trying to get in contact with this self Business Company for a week. I've left a couple of messages and someone finally got back to me and I missed their call. Smh! I waited a whole week!! I tried calling back , Absolutely No answer... I waited an hour and tried calling back again and no answer. They have business hours listed and they never answer. So guess what I did? I decided to drive there on 03/04/2019 They were open !! I was excited! I waited patiently. I've made an appointment for 03/05/2019 @ 10:15am since I seen they do same day appointments as well listed on the website. The Environment was clean , however they staff did not make it feel so welcoming at all. So I over look that hoping tomorrow would be better. I finally arrived on 03/05/2019 @ 10:00am. The young lady told me to pick a song before 10:15am , she hands me the booklet I start looking as soon possible 10:06am I'm asking questions and she said you may chose anything , but we have to be in the back before 10:15am .. Hmmmmm! Remind you my appointment is at 10:15am I still had time to chose a song. Yeah! I was being totally rushed , so I pick any song at this point. We back there I'm still being rush and listening to her talk so fast telling me what to do. Ok.. right ! I should have left when I felt like I was being rushed... Me saying to myself Maybe she's nerves !!! Nope! The whole 30mins was completely Rushed I Couldn't understand her. Please ladies and families. I recommend you don't get a 3D/4D At 36weeks!!! Yes it's listed on the website, however they Do not tell you that your odds of the images of the baby could be unseen/ horrible. It's best to go when you are earlier in the pregnancy no later than 30 weeks so that the baby has room to move . At 36weeks it's hard to get good images . The staff should have said that instead taking customers money. I decide to call my OB/GYN and ask her when is it best to do 3/D 4/D images? She said what I stated above. I was supper excited in the beginning. I book a package they had @ $99 with extra things added . Total $134 .. I'm glad I dodged the bullet I took the extra things off and just purchased the horrible images and black and white pictures that has no name on them for $89 ,because I'm a kind person I didn't want to see her time wasted . Me and my family have no clue what we are looking at, but just one . Smh! I did let her know I felt she was Rushing me and that it should be detailed about coming in at 36weeks that the odds are slim. Horrible place! Will not Return or recommend anyone. Sad that there's not many places to go here in Jacksonville . She needs competition !! They will straighten up fast.. read more

I came here yesterday to find out the gender of our baby, I'm only 14 weeks so was a little nervous it was too early. Safia was the absolute best and within a couple minutes we knew we were having a baby girl! She was also able to give us a little sneak peek of the peanut with 3D images which was so fun! The baby was super uncooperative and she knew all the tricks to get us the best view. She lived streamed the session online so our family and friends could join us from Cali. I received a free ultrasound here due to winning a raffle and I am so grateful! My experience here was excellent! I came in at 32 weeks for a 3D/4D and the owner was so friendly, helpful, and most of all very patient to help get baby in the right position to show her face! The facility is clean and well decorated. Lots of seating for friends and family to attend. I had the option to choose what "soundtrack" of songs to listen to during the ultrasound. My favorite part was that they were able to screen the session live online so our family out of town was able to see baby from 3,000 miles away! read more

I was nervous to see how my baby was doing at just 10 weeks. This baby is my first so I just wanted to make sure everything was still okay in there because my next ultrasound with my doctor was a month away. Safia was wonderful and kind. She explained everything before I could even think of any questions. My husband is in the military so she even gave us a free dvd so he could watch it when he got home from his training. This place is marvelous ! I went in yesterday for a gender determination . The owner is SO nice along with the ultrasound tech in training. We discovered we are having a boy and are 100% sure ! The place is set up like a theatre , it's adorable. The bed for the mommies was so comfortable ! The place was clean and they even had a link so all of our family in different states could view the ultrasound ! My kids were entertained the whole time . There was a little play room for when they got a little bored of watching the ultrasound ( 1 & 4 years old ) . Popcorn for everyone as well :) PERFECT experience ! I had a great experience here!! Safia was so kind and caring - very intelligent and professional! The place itself is very cute and calming - decorated like an old school theater. The ultrasound room was comfortable. Equipment was new and everything was extremely clean. Safia made the experience awesome for my husband and I. She showed us so many different things about our baby - she even had me try a few different things to see different angles of our baby! We were here for a gender reveal (which was successful), but she also gave us a glimpse of our baby in 3D. The entire appointment was about 20 minutes - we did not feel rushed at all. We met Safia to determine the gender of our little one this weekend. The facility is very nicely decorated like a theater, super clean and had a very comfortable bed for mommy to rest in. To top it off, Safia is amazingly professional and very kind, and was unhurried and very thorough before she revealed the gender to my husband and I. I felt so relaxed the entire time I was there. We had an absolutely wonderful experience here. We are expecting twins. Due July 21st. Our family just could not wait to find out the genders so we booked an appointment. I was 15weeks and 3 days. The tech was very friendly, accommodating, and thorough. The location was clean and nicely put together. We had 9 people with us and they even had our ultrasound live stream so that my in laws in TN could watch. Was a special special experience for all of us.
