The staff is very friendly, even if you speak broken Czech like me which is always nice. The menu is reasonably priced and has a lot of czech specialties. I had some fresh bread, their large draft beer and ice cream which were all good (and all for 85 crowns). The biggest downside to this place is the inside smoking. Even if you don't smoke you're exposed to all of it anyways as the doors and windows are always closed. You can opt to sit outside however it may not matter if the smokers move outside too... Overall I did like this place but probably wouldn't go back due to the amount of smoke inside. It gave me a headache, so unless you're a smoker I wouldn't really suggest this place as a regular hangout.

At the other side (inner backyard) is a big garden so plenty of opportunities to sit outside and enjoy it. Decoration is mainly wooden. Generally speaking the enviroment is very cozy. The service is very good. Always with a smile and ready to help. I like that. Cousine is mainly czech (maybe kind a modern czech). We tried goulash, beef sirloin in a cream sauce, chicken, schnitzels, potato pancakes and many other meals. And all of that was very good, maybe even delicious :-) Especially the potato pancakes. I know that it´s nothing difficult but you would be surprised how many cooks don´t know how to make it properly. And here they know. So thumb up. Wine list is also a big plus and of course they have a full bar. So all and all I think that this place deserves to be visited more often than just once.

When it comes to food they try to be stylish and maybe original but the meals do lack the final touch. I like to sit outside in the garden when the weather is nice and we go for a biking trip but otherwise I prefer other places in the area.
