I took a dress in o get repaired... it had a small hole at the bottom of the dress and I ants it patched up. When I picked it up, I saw that he had chopped the bottom part of the skirt off and made it in to a top. When I told him I had just wanted it patched he insisted I as wrong, I wanted it shortened. When I keep saying that was incorrect, he changed his story to the whole was too big to fix. The whole was the size of a quarter and could have easily been repaired. He did give me money to compensate for my loss but it as my favorite dress and it is now useless... there are pockets that hang below the top and it looks weird. If you are going to use this man to repair your clothes make sure he writes down exactly what he is going to do to each pieces of clothing. I had him cut a floor length dress to a knee length dress and I think he got confused. read more

Ok so the shop is extremely disorganized and I'd say dirty. I almost left. The guy altered my pants but he didn't mark it correctly at first. I had to tell him where I wanted it. All the tailors I've been to always know exactly how short sleeves and pants should be without me telling them. Besides that, the guy is nice and got my pants done by the next day. He did a good job. I didn't like that they don't press your clothes. He pointed to a rusty iron and said he could try. I ended up at the cleaners for that. I can also say the the prices are at least half of what I've paid before. I'd go back there, but knowing what to expect now. The prices are what would keep me going and the fact that he's fast and very friendly. read more

I don't like to over pay and I like quality service. So I am not a good customer for fast quick money businesses. I believe in fair and reasonable prices with an honest deal. George the taylor is the EXEMPLARY of what good old fashion service and high quality work looks like. He is not fancy and he is not a fast talker. He is honest, clear, and does amazing work! I had all my suites for formal events at work custom fitted for me and it was PERFECT. I know he's an older man but he can deliver a better product at a better price then anybody I ever used in the past (and I have traveled in the military). I really struggle with finding pants. I'm tall and curvy, so clothes are very hit and miss. I bought two pairs of pants at NY&Company because they normally fit well and are an okay price, they both split up the crotch the first time I wore them. I was so disappointed and returning them became such a hassle that I just went home. I've been hard-pressed to find a quality tailor since I got out of the military, but neighbor recommended Babel Tailor to me. I'm so glad they did!
