The super dyed blue water is obviously not all natural but the waterfalls, water, sand and 'grass' traps add a fun challenge to the game. This location is also a little ways off a main road so it's not packed with people and your game doesnt feel rushed. I've only used the driving range and batting cages once and a VERY long time ago so I can't speak to those as well, but there are always people frequenting these sections when we visit. The prices are very fair ($6 for mini golf but their website frequently hosts deals and they offer $1 off coupons on the bottom of each score card to use for your next game) however they ONLY TAKE CASH so be prepared! All in all I really enjoy this course and if you're ever in the area, check it out!!

Don't waste your money…read more Coming from a prior regular, the owner of this poorly kept establishment is rude and unprofessional. Within 10 minutes of showing up he made a large scene yelling at my party for ruining his turf platforms when they were in the exact condition and location we found them at (not to mention they were missing t's!). After this he yelled that he was kicking us out in which we respectfully packed up our clubs and began to collect balls. When we were about to leave someone in my party spoke up saying his reaction was no way to treat people let alone faithful customers and that's when he said fine stay and stormed away. Needless to say we will not be giving this man our business any longer.

This review is only about the par three golf course. Not Kimball Farm facility in general. My…read morefriend and I arrived around noon for nine holes. The ground keepers were mowing all around us and the sprinkler systems were on in front of every hole we wanted to play. They would shut them off as we went, but it was still a very strange and soggy experience. At one point one of the workers was yelling in my direction right as I was trying to take a shot. The greens were extremely slow and tended to be warped around the hole so that a good putt would often not go in. Add all this to the goose poop which was ever present throughout the course and needless to say to, I found this experience to be very lacking. Kimball Farms is a cash cow and there is no reason they can't maintain their and putt course much better than this.

Friendly. Local. Fun. Booked a private bowling night for a birthday with the new owner Mike and…read morecannot recommend NCL enough. If you've been to the big bowling lanes, you know there's only so much disco you can add to a 1000 lane bowling facility that extends so far into the horizon that you lose sight after the 20th dancing bowling ball video screen. Just as there's only so many colors you can tint an icee, there's also only so much grease you can bake into a frozen pizza to make it worth the $12/drink the corporate alleys are going to charge you for that diabetes drink and heart attack pizza. Consider the alternative: this small, tiny "bowling alley that could" in the basement of a nondescript building you'd never know has been operating for nearly a century (?!) because it's continually delivered a great experience for a fun sport that doesn't actually need grease and disco balls and food coloring to be fun. That simple claim to fun fame's in no small part due to the uniqueness that duckpin bowling offers, but even more so because of its (new) owners who spent years bowling here and just really want you share their love of the sport with you. Turns out, loving what you do matters. North Chelmsford Lanes is the bowling equivalent of the best speakeasy you've ever been to: hard to find, easy to miss, and impossible to forget. So, my friend, skip the blue icee, greasy pizza, and noisy video games with "loyalty cards" you have to recharge six times/hour while going deaf while jumping your car over the 20th flaming bridge car racing game and come here instead to just bowl a few strings with a friendly, welcoming staff who are pouring every dollar you spend back into a special place that's this area's lucky to have around. NCL is just an amazing experience and local time machine that whisks you back to a golden age of bowling, where bowling and good company is enough for a great night out.

I visited the Common in winter when it was covered in snow, so I couldn't really 'see' the park…read more The ice skating rink wasn't open when I visited, so I didn't get to skate either. Still, from what I could see, this looks looks like a very nice city 'green space'. The Worcester Common Oval is where a skating rink is installed in the winter. Prices to skate are reasonable and if you don't have skates, you can rent a pair. In summer concerts and festivals are hosted in this space. The park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In the late 17th century, the Common was 20 acres. The current site is just over four acres. At one point, the Common was used as the militia training ground. Later it was the burying ground and today there are still gravesites located in the park. There are three war memorials inside the park, one of which is a large water fountain, and we noticed two art installations during our visit. Behind the Oval is City Hall making for some really nice photos across the park. There are benches around the park and in winter the pathways were shoveled. I imagine in warmer weather the park is filled with locals enjoying the day. Having lived in a big city, I very much appreciate a public park where you can go and enjoy some open space and the city can host public events. There's no public restroom or atleast I haven't seen one even after living here for a year and visiting it so many many times. Yes there are issues during times and you want to be safe but ask yourself, "Is Central Park in nyc safe around all time of the year and in every nook and corner?" It's in downtown folks. Be wary of the time you visit however big big shout-out to the city for arranging excellent events from time to time. Let's make #wooval kid friendly family friendly gathering place again.
