Then when you're done, Aimee will take care of the rest! Aimee, the owner, is a delight! She was very patient in teaching first-timers and gave some great tips. She keeps a quaint and orderly shop, which is kid-friendly and even pet-friendly. Plus, 20% off for college students (and grad students too, for that matter)! You can pick up your finished piece in about a week so keep that in mind if you are on a time crunch for a gift.

I reached out to the studio and they told me my item was there... not sure what or how they were planning to get in contact with me. At the visit I left my name, my number, a description of my item and noted I painted my initials on the bottom of the item - wrote all of this down on the little scrap paper they gave me to write my info. I'm guessing they lost it.... I go to try and pick up my item today, sign says closed 7/18... it's 7/17, no mention on the phone when I called yesterday or on their social media page(s) that they would be closed due. Frustrating to say the least. Items available to paint upon arriving for the visit were sparse so overall, all of these things combined, it was not worth the hassle.

I went to high school here and walked past Elm Park every day on the way to Dougherty high. I have fond memories of looking out at the water from both bridges. The first one is the most sentimental for me. I took pictures there after my high school graduation. I had many walks here with friends and family, and this park will always be sentimental to me. In the winter, I used to go ice-skating here. There were no rules or regulations, you just brought your skates and skated at your own risk. In the summer, I would take leisurely walks around the park and stop ar a bench and read a book for a while. I was here today for a visit and walked the park I had a joyous moment on each of the bridges. It's fun to relive your childhood. If only I knew then, what I know now.

They also offer scholarships, sibling discounts, and multi-session discounts to make camp accessible. They are also hugely focused on inclusion within the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities.
