The lash stylist, "Ivy" is kind, empathetic, and really listens to what you want and need. She asked me about allergies, design patterns, and proposed several lash patterns prior to my 1st visit. Once I booked on Groupon, she followed up with confirmation texts and extremely professional calendaring software. It was helpful to get those reminders because I'm a busy mom. She treated me like a Queen! Her space is warm and cozy with a clean spa like experience. There is nothing pretentious about her or her business model. She didn't try to "up-sell" me and gave me a lash care package for free. Ivy followed up with me the next day to ensure my satisfaction and again after the event I had attended. The lashes have lasted several weeks and are excellent quality. That was the last thing I wanted to do, my own makeup on my wedding day. I wanted something different aside from my everyday look and she delivered. Julaine was my makeup artist for my wedding this past September and she did an amazing job! I was lucky enough to find Julaine just a couple weeks before my wedding. I've had some luck finding makeup artists that didn't respond and the other one flaked! I know these things happen but the one that flaked actually referred me to Julaine and I'm glad she did something right in light of my situation. She definitely has a great sense of humor and funny personality, afterall she's been doing Makeup for over 20 years (also MAC Certified) and knows what works well on diferent faces and eye shapes. She specializes in Asian eyes and I have just that! She was able to fit me in for a trial run within a couple days from the initial conversation and I booked with her on the spot! I will definitely continue to use her services for the next time I have a photoshoot, family portraits, dinner/anniversary date or a night out on the town. I might even call her to do my makeup (haha) and also be my Doula labor coach when I go into labor, but I'm not expecting just yet. It's tough finding a makeup artist that's available in September, one of the popular months for weddings and I cannot thank her enough for being able to fill me in her schedule and being my makeup artist. It must've been fate because she was supposed to do someone else's makeup and she happened to have an opening the morning of my wedding day! She is really easy to talk to, she always tries to accommodate me, and she is so kind. As for the facials, I just started getting them recently, only having done two so far and I regret not getting them sooner. I have acne prone skin with a lot of inflammation, after the first facial I've noticed my skin already calming down hence why I got the second facial. I have my third facial appt coming up in two weeks, and she's done more for my skin than the hundreds of dollars I've spent on expensive skincare items.
