I cant count how many top salons that I have been to that can't do a basic highlight that looks natural. She listened carefully and found a photo that described what I wanted and reproduced it. The products that she uses are 80% less damaging and sulfate free. She offers online shopping convenience for reproducing the soft feel at home. Lauras prices are very reasonable and her salon is nice and clean. Ruby her sweet pug is irresistible and ready to cuddle if you are. So happy to have found a great hairdresser right here in town. FYI The sign outside says "Hair to dye for"but inside the door says 'Hermosa Hair Design' as Laura only recently purchased the salon.

I again told her I didn't want a bob but all layered, bottom line, she didn't listen or hear me or seem to care. By the time she was done, I looked like a clown and my short hair was just chopped all over the place. It was the worst attempt at cutting hair I've ever encountered and I'm 69 years old! $38 later, I left in tears, she knew she did a bad job but acted like she just gave the best cut ever.....do NOT make an appointment with Rhonda at Bello Beauty in Ferndale, you will be sorry!

The stylist seemed a little stern and scary at first when we checked in. Granted, I am easily scared, but still...haha. Haven't had a haircut since before covid so I had trouble explaining what I wanted (basic chin length bob with layers, but not a "karen" cut...can you tell I don't get out much?). She went abracadabra and snippity snip, and OMG I LOVE it. In and out super fast, and I don't think I've ever had cuter layers. Afterward we visited friends who have a 6 & a 3 year old who've never seen me without long hair. When I walked in, both kids yelled "I LIKE YOUR HAIR!!!" Granted, the 3 year old probably yelled it because the 6 year old yelled it, but you know what? Little kids don't lie. Great Clips earned the toddler seal of approval.
