She generously donated a color consult of her expert services which is such an asset when it comes to designers today. Because we all know Home Depot or Sherwin Williams or where ever you get your paint usually has harsh lighting. So the chocolate color, you thought you got at the store, might come home looking like poo. She has now relegated to Memphis, sadly - but that only means Tennessee is going to have the opportunity to take advantage of her wonderful skills. I've seen some chairs she's reupholstered and redesigned; her talent relegates in her attention to detail and really deriving personality into pieces that are truly unique. I've seen her work a pile of swatches better than an Asian lady in the garment district. "A chair is still a chair, even when no one is sitting there..." DO NOT TRUST MUNNS UPHOLSTERY!…read more We are designers and trusted them to take care of us and our client. Unfortunately this did not work out. They came out and measured for these and ended up making them inches too short. They had to come back to fix one of them. I worked with them and accepted the other one, when truth be had, we should've made them fix that one as well. We finally received this back the afternoon of June 3rd. My customer made us aware that one of the cushions seam has come undone. These have not even been sat on yet. No kids and no dogs are in the home. It is clear that the seam was missed while sewing. I reached out to them the moment that I was made aware of the situation which was Sept 4th. I had texted, called and sent photos. I just heard back from them today informing me that they have a 90 Day Warranty on their products. From the time of the final delivery to my first contact, we are over this by less than a day. They are deciding to not make this right for our client. Though they are within their right to do so, that is not how I run my business. It is clear that it is a mishap on their end as there is no tear in the material but clear missed while sewing the seam. I would not hesitate in taking care of something like this for my clients. It is unfortunate that they do not have the same pride in their work as well. I would not trust them to take care of any of our client and would recommend the same to you.
