I come here with my husband for first time, he comes here a lot and likes it. The food here is very good, I love that whole menu is halal--I had burger. I would give 5 stars except I came here this past week and noticed lady very exposed behind the counter, maybe she work here? Made me uncomfortable thinking my husband come here alone, I understand if customer dress this way but if workers dress this way felt inappropriate for the restaurant as it is halal, etc.. I ordered with Uber Eats for pickup, and I left my house right away. After my less than 2 mile drive, my food was ready for pickup! I ordered the TUMA's Crispy Fiesta Dinner and Buffalo Spicy Chicken Pizza, and I'm amazed by how good the chicken was. The flavors of the meals were explosive, and they definitely don't cheat you on toppings and sauce. I've paid far more at places for the same foods, that skimp you and give you dry meals. I think that most of the rest of the menu is truly solid. Overall, a great option for fast-food/bar food that issues high-quality ingredients, is made-to-order, and offers a difference you can taste. Their veggie pizza is hands down one of my favorites in San Diego fresh, flavorful, and loaded with toppings without feeling heavy. And the cheesecake? Easily some of the best around. The staff has always been friendly, the food is consistently delicious, and it's one of those places we keep coming back to again and again. The owner welcomed us and was incredibly kind and friendly. He even gave us free ice cream, which was such a nice gesture! The restaurant is also pretty spacious, and you can sit down and enjoy your food there. We ordered the 28" Works pizza, and let me tell you--it was HUGE! It easily fed all seven of us. We also ordered the antipasto salads, which were really good, and the buffalo wings were delicious as well. I can't wait to come back and try more items from the menu. I wish I could've taken pictures of the food for this review, but we devoured everything as soon as we got home! Great food, generous portions, and excellent customer service. The chicken, onions, and sauce were portioned well on the pizza and they did not skimp on the veggies on the salad. I ordered online and pick up was a breeze. They have plenty of things to choose from on their menu so check them out.

I didn't hold back on the ordering. Brisket, ribs and I had to try a pizza. The most important thing I'll say in this review- this is the best brisket I've ever had. I've been to Texas and I've tried the top contenders. Paul Jamma's brisket belongs up there with those top contenders! This brisket was glistening. Perfect salt ratio, great bark and melt in your mouth perfection. The ribs were tender, great smoke flavor and came off the bone so easily. For sides, the greens!!!! A must! The greens were delicious! They even had rib tips in there. The candied yams were fantastic. The potato salad was definitely homemade and very good. Beans were out of this world good. Now, the pizza. The meat market pizza was a great choice. I don't know what exactly they're doing to the dough, but whatever it is, keep it up. Light and crispy. Fresh toppings. And they're not skimpy on the toppings either. The hospitality here was something you want to go home and write about. Extremely friendly staff. They lived up to every expectation I had and more. I stopped by on a Saturday around 10 PM, right when they were opening, hoping to grab a slice. They…read morelet me know it would be about another 30 minutes before slices were ready so if you're planning to come right at opening, it's worth keeping that in mind. I came back around 11 PM, but although Yelp listed their closing time as midnight, they had already closed for the night. I returned the next day around 11 AM to finally give the pizza a try. The restaurant was empty, and ordering was quick and easy. They only had pepperoni and cheese available by the slice. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. I chose to sit inside, but it was fairly warm, so the patio would probably have been a more comfortable option. My slice only took a few minutes to heat up before it was served. The slice is definitely large, but at nearly $8 after tip, it felt a bit expensive for a single slice of pizza. Parking was also challenging. Street parking in the area is limited so plan to spend a little extra time looking for a spot. What I ordered: *Pepperoni Slice: The slice was generous in size, but could have used more pepperonis. Personally, though, it just wasn't my style of pizza. I prefer a crispier crust, and this one was much softer and doughier than I like. The cheese also didn't have the rich flavor I was hoping for. While I know they make everything fresh in-house, the overall flavor reminded me more of a chain-style pizza than the homemade, artisan-style pizza I was expecting. One thing I can't say enough about is how friendly the owner was. The service was welcoming, and I also love that they're dog-friendly, which is always a big plus. While the pizza wasn't my favorite, I'd still be interested in coming back to try one of their sandwiches or another menu item.
