There is lots of seating with fancy table and chairs. There is also bench seating around the back. The couple negatives was mainly due to having a large group and banquet option. The banquet includes Lebanese coffee and complimentary baklava. At the end of the meal instead of bringing out the Lebanese coffee they took coffee orders, that meant people naturally asked for lattes and cappuccinos and not realizing that there was already included coffee. Then there was no baklava brought out as they thought we had enough sweets (we brought cake and another sweet), not very complimentary :/ With that said, fairly minor things that I would just make sure to avoid if I went again. I nearly went for a Thai noodle place, simply because it wasn't the norm... at which point I saw Cafe D'or. Lebanese food done well is simply brilliant! For my lunch I chose the lamb shawarma grilled with onions, capsicum and mushrooms, served on a bed of rice and a side of fatoush (pic - http://frid.co/u7uHfz ). While I would have loved more shawarma in my serving... my plate was clean by the end of lunch. I only wish I didn't have to run off so I could have had some desert as well. This place was great, and if you are ever looking for something to munch on (even if you have a big group) you should certainly think about including this place in your list.

The fully licensed venue (BYO for wine only) also serves up a range of gluten free, halal and vegan dishes for those with special dietary requirements. Meals are perfect for sharing, so if you're looking for a restaurant that will cater for large groups, this is it. Prices are a little expensive, but the quality of the food makes up for it. Some of my favourite dishes include the chicken skewers, Shish Deluxe, coriander potatoes, mixed plate and rice pudding. Service is friendly and attentive, and the Saturday night belly dancer is pretty impressive too. Make sure you arrive by 8pm or you'll miss the show.

Magic mushrooms, pictured, with.... 0 mushrooms... The "truffle/mushroom" paste offered no flavour as truffles and mushrooms should. The eggs were watery and cold and the brioche was definitely stale. The most enraging thing is that at $20+ there's not enough food for a satisfying meal. I asked for bacon, extra $5, and it was not on my plate. They then tried to charge for the bacon at check out. Lol. Stingy portions with a hefty price tag. The mojito, like most mixed drinks in Sydney, had a miniscule amount of alcohol and too much sugar syrup which made it taste more like a soda than a mojito. Zero flavour. Bello the shelter is located at the entrance to Westfield Burwood and is a large cafe with quaint homely style theming and sizeable booths and space for plenty of people to enjoy all day breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. It was super busy when we there, buzzing with excited diners. The owners are extremely passionate about their business, working hard for over 20 years to keep this a thriving cafe, adapting to the customers and current food climate. They are really hospitable and welcome us to experience their wonderful cafe. A group foodies joined together on this occasion, ordering a range of the favourites to share. We began with some beautiful coloured lattes, the rose flavour - a hot pink cup of goodness, that tasted exactly like Rose! Accompanying this was a fluro purple taro latte. They have plenty more flavours on offer, so make sure you ask - they're secret! Then come the two drinks that anyone will jump with excitement at. The Candy land milkshake: a bubblegum milkshake topped with fairy floss, lollypops, sugar straps, gummy lollies and more to make your dreams a reality. The second one, a chocolate version with Oreos, brownies, chocolate wafers and cream, you cannot come without ordering one of these. Another beautiful dish is the Organic Granola with Seasonal fruits, poached pear, served with fruit and organic honeycomb, complete with small jars of syrup, milk and coloured cereal. For a savory selection, we went with the Egyptian style "Basturma Omelette" - free range eggs with olives and fresh tomatoes and a side of sourdough. There's some other interesting options, which we didn't have but worth a try are the "Salmon macarons" or a brioche French toast with matcha, dulce de leche and gold leaf. Whilst we picked some of the super interesting options, they do have your typical foods like benedict, Bacon and egg rolls, avocado on toast and more. From the lunch menu we couldn't go past the "Season" - the charcoal bun with a grass-fed angus beef patty, with double hi-melt American cheese, roasted capsicum, beetroot balsamic, bacon, oak lettuce, tomato and secret sauce. They also have a burger called "Viral" that is crumbed and deep fried with pickles, jalepenos, salsa and sour cream, this is not for the faint hearted and sure to go crazy with the insta crowds. In addition to this, the menu has a range of other burgers, ribs, hanging skewers, steak and schnitzels as well as salads. A great café to take a break from shopping but it's also a destination café that is certainly worth specifically travelling to. Food to suit any market and there are quality inventive dishes but also regular menu choices if you're not as adventurous. We certainly plan a revisit.

On a day that she was off work, I headed over to the other food court to check out the new competition. The 'coming soon' board works were still up so I looked around to see what would win me over on this other side of town. Having spotted the Ozy Kebabs stand, I sneakily headed over and ordered a chicken and mushroom pide. I usually have a pide once in a while at uni, so I thought it would make for good comparison. I have to say I was quite impressed with the size of the meal I had that day, and for only $4, I found myself quite full too. The kebabs are quite reasonable, minus the bread being a little tough, but they really don't stack up to other kebab places I've eaten at. I'm sorry if she reads this, but maybe if she does she'll realise that there's more competition for a quick and cheap meal - and it's a little closer to home.
