Sad to say this Thai restaurant does not deliver the goods in Campbell River. Thai food is simply one of my favourites and this restaurant just was below average. The Tom Yum Soup just doesn't have the right lemongrass and spice flavour and is really too sour. Almost like there's too much vinegar. Rice dish was bland and mushy. I'd say the Stir fried curry paste was probably the best of everything I had. It was actually quite good and was a shame that everything else brought down the overall experience. I'm also one for families running a local business but having your screaming child run around your business banging on everything is probably a fast way to ruin the dining experience for your guests. Sad to say, probably won't come back as their prices are slightly higher than average of quality Thai restaurants. read more

Food : for 3 Shrimp , 3 Slices of chicken breast and the same in 3 a undified sausage slices and noodles in a broth; this in my view, not a seafood dish. Very un appetizing type of for peoples meals. Cost $18 not my restaurant I would want to go back to.tasty read more

I had the cashew chicken with coconut rice. The sauce was absolutely delightful. The chicken tender and savory. The rice absolutely perfect. The veggies though? Quite bland, barely cooked. The food is simply amazing. Always served hot and fresh. There is ample parking and a quick trip up the stairs food heaven awaits. I pretty much go a few times a week to get my fill of their delicious creations. The coconut rice is really good and all the curry dishes are very flavorful. They can make it hotter if you require it. I always get it hotter but that's just me. If you have a chance to go for some great Thai food be sure and stop in. The staff is always courteous and friendly. Another gem of Campbell River, we are so lucky to have. Not sure what "real thai" the user below is stating. This isn't VANCOUVER so why even compare it to that. read more

I was up in Campbell River for work and saw this Thai place above a lovely little cheese and deli shop. I stopped for their lunch special on a seriously rainy day. I only had their soup and spring roll with rice, but it was delicious and checking the prices on the menu, it all looked comparable to any hole-in-the-wall Thai place around Vancouver. Inside it was beautiful, modern but not overly pretentious, lots of big windows to let in natural light. Of course, the windows overlook a um...giant stripmall, but I was seated between their little garden patio and a tree with the last of its yellow autumn leaves, so I enjoyed myself. What a surprise find in Campbell River! The Pad Thai with Peanut sauce and Tofu, Masaman Curry with tofu, Yellow Curry with tofu were wonderful and tasty. Topped it off with an icy Thai coffee. Yum. Were on our way down island and will definately stop in again. Yes, A/C on a hot day was appreciated. They also have a lovely roof top sundeck. read more

The quick and dirty is that I ordered a curry dish which looked super scrumptious, but upon the first bite I extracted a long black hair. I then found a second hair in my curry, and at this point the server asked about my meal. I then informed her about the hair dilemma, in which I was already embarrassed; she processed to pat me on the shoulder and tell me that I was fine with it. After being totally caught off guard by the server not offering to replace my spoiled food I decided not to eat it. A different waitress then cleared my plate and I informed her of why it was left untouched. She seemed sympathetic but when the bill came they merely took off $4.50 from the total and I still paid for the rest of my $17 meal which I had not touched. Unbelievable, the waitress mentioned that this was the best she could provide after chatting with her boss. Very disappointed in their service, in the manner in which the incident was dealt with and with the management. A simple replacement of the food would have been most welcomed as that's all I wanted; and in lieu of that not paying for a meal that I did not eat because of their mistake. I will not be recommending this restaurant to fellow colleagues following this incident, which is unfortunate as we do a tremendous amount of work in the area and stay here often. read more

Was there for business earlier this year, and to be honest, I wasn't expecting gourmet fare here, but it was much better than most restaurants in small towns. Food was actually very tasty and filling. The only problem, was sitting on the upper floor near the window was a very hot experience. I'd estimate it was over 35 degrees there with the direct sunlight and no ventilation. read more

Not impressed. I received a different curry dish than the one I had ordered. When I asked the server about it, she told me that that was the number I had ordered. Since I believed it to be my mistake and the food was still good, I was polite and kept it. On my way out after paying and tipping, I reviewed the menu numbers again and discovered the server had lied to me. I had ordered correctly and she had brought be the wrong food! The food was phenomenal!!! Soooo good. Service was great, food was a little slow but well worth the wait. The view was nice and the atmosphere was relaxed, Probably gonna go back tomorrow it was so good. read more

Delicious food and reasonably priced. Stairs may be difficult for the elderly and not accessible for wheelchairs, and the restaurant is small so you do need to book ahead for dinner to be sure to get a table. read more
