Food was ok but too salty. The young lady who took our order spoke English which was very helpful.

There was no greeting, just a menu dropped on the table while she walked away. When we tried to ask a simple question, she said look at the menu and walked away. Any attempt at polite engagement was shut down with curt answers. I don't need red-carpet treatment, but basic human decency shouldn't be too much to ask for. If you're looking for a peaceful dinner where you feel welcome, you might want to look elsewhere--or just stick to takeout.

Didn't think much of it until we couldn't get seated at the sushi restaurant. We were seated right away near the entrance. It's hot in Praha in the summer!!! We order about 6 dishes and they were pretty decent for Europe. Coming from the San Gabriel Valley, Chinese food has to be exceptional and I think this place could survive in SGV as a mom and pop business. We ordered duck, fried rice, a fish dish, a corn soup, beef and broccoli (yep, I was traveling with young children, hahaha). These were dishes that pleased all of us. They were very decent especially if you're missing some Asian flavors in Praha.

We stayed in here for 1,5h and could eat as much as possible. The waitress did not ask if we want to drink something every few minutes which was very pleasant. We finished our first beer and didn't drink anything else until we left, which is pretty uncommon for all you can restaurants in our experience. We can't fully recommend the restaurant!

Tl;dr great value all you can eat sushi…read more All you can eat for 289 CZK makes it hard to ever be unhappy. :) the conveyor belt is sure to bring a smile to your face when you visit. The staff speak Mandarin Chinese, Czech and I'm not sure but I think English as well (?). Not that communication will ever be an issue here when all you need to do is take sushi off a conveyor belt. There aren't too many variations, but all the basics are there. Salmon maki, salmon sushi, salmon sashimi, salmon cucumber roll topped with more salmon..... Oh and other things I saw like octopus, squid and red snapper sushi as well as Philadelphia rolls. The plates are small and only have one or two items on each which is great because you can try everything without fear of not liking something. :) There were other fried foods that came around tons. I didn't try these since thats not what I come here for. I did like that the fruit bowl came with asian fruits, I think longan? The fruits aren't just simply canned fruits anyway! The pudding I liked. I've definitely had something similar a long time ago. It tasted like an egg pudding and was great because it tasted great without being too sweet.

My most favorite Činsky bufet, if you will. Many a night, my fellow vegetarian roomie and I would order take out from this place and carry it home to drink with 20kč bottles of Gambrinus and Staropramen from the potraviny on the first floor of our apartment building, rice and veggies doused in Thailand on a Plate sweet chile sauce, which has somehow never tasted as good as it did back then. Back in the day, Prague wasn't exactly a haven for vegetarians, so my options here--and a shit ton of other places as well--were awfully limited. But I was a big fan of the one veggie plate they had. I don't even really remember what it was anymore. Saucy vegetables consisting of mostly cabbage with a side of rice is what I remember. God, I loved that shit. I craved it. I still crave it sometimes, honestly. The Czech equivalent of lipgloss greasy lo mein at cheap Americanized Chinese places, it surely hit the spot. I honestly don't believe I ever ordered anything else from this restaurant. 4 stars may be a bit excessive, especially given that I haven't even been in the country since May 2007, but this place made me happy when I was in Prague. And it's a little daunting to be a shy, self-conscious girl in a country where a lot of people don't speak your language (I think a lot has changed since 2007); going out to eat and all that jazz was a little hard for me. Having this restaurant in my neighborhood, a mere hop skip & jump from my apartment, was really nice. Oh, Prague Chinese food, how I loved you. I will never forget you. Maybe eventually you'll be mine again. I can only hope.
