This has been my go-to for the past few months, simply because it's full of really good quality…read morevendors with good products, great variety, and even better people. I have been making Buda's Farmer's Market my ritual every Sunday, as I usually get there around Noon time which still gives me a couple of hours to graze and browse and shop. I've met pretty much everyone there and it's got a nice selection of items as well. I know we're not supposed to have favorites, but I do have a few of them that I just visit on a regular basis. - Springtown Coffee Roasters - oh my goodness I love these ladies and their coffee! They have this really refreshing drink called the "Coffee Soda" - it's their Ethiopian blend mixed with carbonated water served cold, w/ ice, add some simple syrup - and WHOA! It's the best damn coffee drink I've ever had - no joke. Very refreshing, one of a kind, they need to bottle this up. I have bought a few of their coffee beans as they have a plethora of offerings. What I love about them is they offer high quality products, they know their beans, the origin, and have a specific roasting process that sustains the integrity of the bean. I can't say enough about them - only 4 bucks for a cup of coffee soda and they will give you free refills during your time there. Sometimes I come here just for their coffee soda - The pickles and jarred jelly couple up front - I have bought from them, and I love their garlic sweet and hot pickle chips. The juice can be used as a salad dressing too. Of the various pickles I've tried in the past from other vendors, these guys taste the best IMO. Huge selection too - The pickled green beans and beef / turkey jerky guy - - I buy from him on a regular basis. My favorite is the garlic picked green beans - LOVE THEM! Growing up in Michigan my bff's mom made the same and called them "Dilly Beans". I buy 3 jars at a time, you get a buck off, and if you spend a certain amount you get a $10 credit. Jerky is pretty solid too - the hot is really hot btw. He's an all around nice guy too. - The garlic puree lady - oh yeah - she makes this awesome garlic puree that you can basically put on ANYTHING! Very deep and potent garlic flavor, rub it on your chicken, I rubbed it on my grilled cheese before I put it on the skillet - WOW! I love garlic. - The kambucha girl - she's gone but her stand is still there, they have some unique flavors such as blueberry, peach, ginger lemon, and you can mix and match. I am a regular here and bring back the glass bottle and get a buck off. - The Empanada stand up front to the right - they are also at Sunset Farmers Market. My favorite is the bolognaise, brisket, and the strawberry / rhubarb. Love their sauces too! Other vendors I have bought from there and really like: - Fresh veggies - Fresh peppers - Salsa guy makes some good salsa (from Llano I think) - The cheese guy has some nice cold smoked cheeses - The salsa / tomato puree / bbq sauce / queso / jalapeno ranch girl - oh man she's got some goodies (also at Sunset). Best damn queso ever. Seriously. - Microgreen dudes - yes they are full of flavor and I love em There are a lot of great vendors here, many more that I may have forgotten, but I've always had a great experience here and everyone is always so very nice and pleasing.

Love, love, love this fabulous Farmers Market! We've been regulars for 3 years now…read more Since this is the TX Hill Country, it's easier to grow meat than veggies. ;) But, some wonderful veggie growers come in from the surrounding areas where the soil is naturally deeper. Usually there are 2-6 veggie vendors, depending on the season (more veggies available in the spring, early summer, and mid to late fall, and not so much in the heat of summer, which is with the local seasons). There are probably 4-8 meat vendors each week; they are usually more predictable as the weather doesn't affect their products as much: everything from beef, chicken, lamb, seafood, bison, and sometimes pork. Also eggs and milk. All sorts of specialty food and other vendors cycle through, probably 5-15 vendors per week, from bakeries, to dried fruit, from honey, soaps, jewelry, ginger root beer, ethnic foods, to the Hays County Master Gardeners, the Wild Bird Store, and more. We love the wonderful family friendly ambience with musicians serenading us while we shop, kind and patient fellow customers, and knowledgable vendors. I learn something new every time I come. One of the highlights of our week! Check it out. As noted, because of the TX heat and rain, occasionally the location will be changed to Ranch Park with inclement weather, while during the heat of the summer, the market always shifts to it's summer schedule of 9-12. Brilliant if you ask me. No one wants to shop in the afternoon of the dead of summer! The rest of the year the market is in the afternoon, from 3-6pm.

This is a great weekly farmers market in Dripping Springs. They have a great variety of…read morevendors...farmers, artists, vineyards, and others. There are local musicians playing live music every week. It's well run and managed. Get there when they open for the best selections. They do run out of things, so if you arrive in the last 30 minutes, some vendors may be sold out. Also, produce is seasonal, so it's not the market's fault if some types of produce aren't available in the months when it doesn't grow. I love being able to support local farmers and businesses. I do wish they'd move it back to Founders Park, but it's understandable that it may not be possible.

I thought my farmers market was off the hook, until I saw New Braunfels Farmers Market. Y'all don't…read moreplay around. Wow! What an epic display of community and togetherness. This is more like a street party with food trucks, venders and artisans. They shut the streets down. There's a huge stage with a band. Food trucks line the streets. Another area is venders and produce, seafood, and even home made items. Restaurants open their doors, they even have a small table out on the sidewalk sampling drinks. YES, looks like you can walk around with a drink in hand. I saw people selling beer in copper mugs. White Claw booth. ZAO was giving away 12 ounce drinks as well. So impressed. Had a great time. I did pay $3.00 for parking. I'm sure there is free street parking. But since I don't know my way around. I just paid at the first lot of saw that wasn't full. Well worth $3.00. I think it was for 2 hours. Can totally see people spending their whole day here getting food, listening to the band enjoying the sunshine, as the rain storm we got. I'm from Austin, and seriously, I would drive down here and spend the day here. Epic time

Can be a little crowded in the walkways especially with nice weather so walkers and wheelchair folks may find it limiting. Very pet friendly and highly encouraged. Paid street parking is available.
