They also carry a number of jarred items (honey, molasses, pickles, jams, sauces) as well as locally raised meats and I enjoyed going aisle by aisle looking my through their inventory I was also happy to see that they carry a number of gluten free items, including flour and pastas that I'm able to find at my local grocery store. I also loved that they have fresh baked breads and desserts, as well as sandwiches to order to go (didn't try any on this visit, but they looked excellent online!). I did pick up a bit of their jalapeño beef jerky which wasn't super tough like jerky sometimes is and also was super salty, which was appreciated. The staff seemed friendly and ready to help. Across from the store is a bbq spot with seating and I'll be sure to visit there on my next visit. The ONLY reason why I couldn't give a 5-star review this time is I had a very hard time finding the prices on a number of items (especially in their freezer/refrigerated sections). It made it a bit inconvenient and I didn't want to keep going up to the counter to check the costs each time. Other than that, I'd highly recommend a visit!

I also got rosemary focaccia bread from Texas French bread company. I always feel these ladies that work here are a little rude. They will not sell before 9am. Even though only one is setting up and the other is just standing there. I'm not sure why 2 people can't help 1 customer each. I was being helped while the other watched and there was a line behind me. It's a turn off. I rarely eat bread. Rosemary focaccia doesn't have a rosemary flavor. Pure Luck has their strawberry chèvre again. And I love it. So amazing on crackers. They won 4 awards in 2026! Impressive for sure. And rightfully earned.

The market stalls included some fresh produce, some meats and fish, lots of preserved items like jams, fermented goods, and pickled goods. Several stalls offered vegan and gluten free baked goods. More stalls offered tinctures, herbals, and stuff like that, and there were a couple stalls with craft goods like jewelry and art. Oh, also many prepared food options, and plenty of picnic tables at which to eat. I was impressed by the number and variety of stalls. There wasn't much produce variety, but it's late September so likely a time of year thing. While here, I saw lots of families and couples wandering the stalls. Every producer I talked to was friendly. I left with okra, a seriously large Armenian cucumber, peach jam, pickled carrots, and a bottle of cider. I also picked up a large donation from Lone Star Lettuce, which supports a nonprofit I work with.

This is more like a street party with food trucks, venders and artisans. They shut the streets down. There's a huge stage with a band. Food trucks line the streets. Another area is venders and produce, seafood, and even home made items. Restaurants open their doors, they even have a small table out on the sidewalk sampling drinks. YES, looks like you can walk around with a drink in hand. I saw people selling beer in copper mugs. White Claw booth. ZAO was giving away 12 ounce drinks as well. So impressed. Had a great time. I did pay $3.00 for parking. I'm sure there is free street parking. But since I don't know my way around. I just paid at the first lot of saw that wasn't full. Well worth $3.00. I think it was for 2 hours. Can totally see people spending their whole day here getting food, listening to the band enjoying the sunshine, as the rain storm we got. On our visit there was a beer vendor, wine tasting along with a traveling pizza oven making pizzas. This is not a big farmers market and there were just over a dozen vendors. Four of them were cooking up food. Plenty of picnic tables to sit at in the same park that hosts the annual October fest. They even had a folk singing duo which added to the ambience.

Farmers markets are supposed to be welcoming, family-friendly spaces where local vendors, farmers, nonprofits, faith groups, and community members can come together safely and respectfully. Unfortunately, I witnessed something that made the environment feel anything but welcoming. There was a small religious group with a table at the market, and as someone passed by, they shouted offensive racial and religious slurs at the men working the table. It was completely uncalled for. Rather than engaging in any kind of respectful conversation, this person chose to be hateful and intimidating in a public community space. I understand that the organizers may not be able to identify or remove every person who behaves this way, but I do think the market should be more proactive about making its expectations clear. A farmers market should feel safe for everyone, including vendors and community organizations that may be more likely to face harassment. Clear signage, public reminders, or stronger policies against hate speech and intolerance would go a long way. I hope the organizers take this seriously and make it clear that racism, religious intolerance, and harassment are not acceptable at this market. The community deserves a space that truly feels supportive, inclusive, and safe for all.
