It is especially enjoyable to visit at Christmas time, as they always have an enormous tree that is beautifully decorated, and many stunning special christmas ornaments on sale. Traditional, maybe even a bit old-fashioned, and with that comes old-fashioned excellent customer service and very polite sales assistants. Bennetts is always a pleasure to visit, and brilliant for unusual gift ideas.

This international shipping company is outstanding in every category. I have only used them a few…read moretimes so far but will continue to use them whenever we have shipments from the UK (or other countries they service) to the United States. Paul Topham is the contact that I used with MIES and I don't know how to use good enough words for the review!!! He is extremely patient with my millions of emails with questions regarding shipment both before and after pick up. He explains in detail, and has given me quotes including the duties, taxes before pick up so I know how much it will be (and very close to actual price after packing). The packing / crating was very professional and he even provided photos after packing prior to shipment. I strongly suggest getting quotes for this company, whenever you have international shipments going to the United States!!!

Yes they use recon parts stripped from other machines, but they repaired my Mac within 10 days when no one else could/wanted to, at what I considered to be a very fair price of £320 ... much better than the £2,000+ needed for a new machine (as advised by KRCS ... who even then didn't seem bothered about advising on the best solution, despite the fact I had money to spend!) I have had two power failures whilst my Imac was turned on (I could not get the Imac to start up again), the first occasion I took it to Mac Repair Nottingham to be told a power supply replacement was needed at a cost of £150, this job seemed to take 15 minutes whilst I popped for a coffee, on a subsequent power failure where I could not get the Imac to start a local store closer too me simply showed me how easy it is to restart an Imac with such problems (No new power supply needed) and also stated that it seemed the power supply had not been changed on the previous occasion at all. I contacted Mac Repair Nottingham who told me the "Replacement" (If indeed there was one) was in fact a refurbished unit of the same age and type as my previous one (So no way to tell if it was replaced at all). At no time whilst in the store or upon asking for payment was it mentioned that they used an old part and to me £150 for 15 minutes leaves me feeling mugged (That's £6,000 per hour then). Ask exactly what you will be getting for your quoted price before you agree and ask if new parts are being used.

That was the smallest issue that they couldn't repair my laptop, but they stated, that they did and…read morelied. I paid £72 pounds, that refunded only when I returned with an IT guy, who explained me that my laptop has a contact error and they have known it, as this is the only one explanation, how they can turn it on anytime (back, where I can't see that they hit it here and there), then it doesn't work at home. They spoiled the never used battery of my laptop, that was not refunded. Their firmly stated, that a Lithium-ion battery must be charged for 14 hours every time when it is not used for a while.
