Lennie and her team created the most beautiful flower arrangements for our wedding last May. We gave her some guidelines and also a bit of freedom and we were blown away with what she created! I can't tell you how many people complimented us on our flowers and wanted to know where they came from. This was no small task - we had a wedding with 180 guests. Lennie and her team created a flower arch for the ceremony, table arrangements for all dinner tables and a few larger pieces for the bar, flower crowns for flower girls, bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, corsage bracelets, a bridal hair clip, boutonnières and even provided flowers to decorate the three small wedding cakes. Lennie grows beautiful, unique blooms and arranges them in the perfect way. Buy her flowers, sign up for her workshops, and request her floral creations - you won't be disappointed. read more

Found this gem while on a day trip to Bodega Bay. The flowers were beautiful, but I was disappointed to find an infestation of aphids after about a week. The flowers still looked great, so I was very disappointed to have to throw them out. For $30+ for a small bundle of flowers I would expect to be free of THAT many bugs. read more

This is a review for their roadside self-help flower stand. Honor system cash payment with stated prices for small, medium and large bouquets. I paid for a medium size bouquet of Dahlias and other wild flowers, (about $34) Flowers are super fresh and gorgeous! Here are pics of the flower stand and of the bouquet which I arranged in an antique water pitcher when I got home. read more

B-Side Farms provided our magical early Spring wedding in the Redwoods with some of the dreamiest, most atmospheric florals I have literally ever seen! Lennie was also incredibly helpful, friendly, and present during the whole process, so we felt thoroughly taken care of, even though we had no idea what we were doing. Her skill and artistry realized our wedding vision far, far beyond our expectations and we are still so very grateful to have had her on our team. She's the best! read more

Lennie is absolutely incredible. She did the florals at our wedding and even my husband stated that he didn't think flowers could look that good. I found her thanks to Instagram (after admiring her work for someone else's wedding), and she happened to be super close to our venue. Lennie was super personable and was willing to work with my budget - and totally understood what I wanted. But even better - when it came to day of, she exceeded my (well, our) expectations. Lennie took my visions and brought them to life to look more beautiful than we could've hoped for. And I loved the fact that all of the flowers were grown on her farm. Seriously in love with Lennie work and cannot say enough good things about B-Side Farm. read more

No one makes a bouquet like B-Side! They are so unique and beautiful. I wish they were still in California. I used to go almost every weekend. 11/10 would recommend! read more

Lennie and team did an absolutely amazing job for my wedding. We had table arrangements, a few statement arrangements for entry tables, a fully decorated chuppah, and marigold garlands. I've known Lennie socially for a number of years, but hadn't worked with her previously, and was immediately put at ease by the introductory phone call, where she asked me lots of questions about what colors, styles, flowers I liked and didn't like. The bid she gave was not the lowest we received, but was 110% worth it based on the quality and her team's ability to meet our custom needs around the garland and the chuppah. She and another member of her team came out the day of to help set up, and they were incredibly personable, relaxed, and efficient. I have no reservations in recommending B-Side farm wholeheartedly! read more

I discovered the Roblar Road flower stand just in time for tulip season. I'm of Dutch dissent and tulips are my favorite flowers. The freshness of these flowers is just beyond anything I've purchased prior in this area, and the variety is surprising. At first I thought they were on the expensive side, so I thought I'd buy a small bouquet and see how it goes. Still looked great after one week with proper care, and that says a lot when you're talking about tulips. I also love the variety of bouquet sizes, and that they don't stuff their bouquets full of green filler. The small bouquet is perfect for my small kitchen island. Simple elegance. So worth it! read more

I don't even know where to begin. I contacted Lennie relatively last-minute (June for a September wedding), and thankfully she was available. We were doing our wedding on a budget, and Lennie was completely willing to work within our constraints. She provided us with my bridal bouquet, long-stem lilies for the bridesmaids (which she re-acquired last minute the day before because she didn't like the original lilies! Love a woman as particular as me!), and 4 buckets of greens and flower stems so we could save money by making our own center pieces. To help facilitate that, she made a mock-up center piece and even sent me "how-to" videos so I didn't screw things up (...little did she know, my soon to be mother-in-law and aunt-in-law have endless talent, so there was no hope of me ruining her beautiful buds!) Beyond her flexibility and ease of contacting, the flowers were GORGEOUS. SO many beautiful colors, clearly so well loved and cared for by Lennie. We were able to make 20 milk-jug center pieces as well as about a dozen smaller arrangements, more than enough to totally bathe the barn in flowers. Lennie was also willing to make my bridal bouquet extra-special; I mailed her a locket in advance, which she lovingly attached to my bouquet. And when I wasn't available to pick them up in person last minute, she worked with my bridesmaids to coordinate a mostly seamless hand-off. I'm SO glad I decided to go with Lennie, and am already looking for excuses to work with her again. read more

Visiting Lennie's farm was an honor. It's so very special to see where these beautiful flowers come from, having been delicately grown from seed at the B-Side Farm. I've been guest to quite a few events where Lennie has provided gorgeous arrangements with the most delicate flowers begging to be adored. One of my favorite touches was on a special outing of friends, where she provided the most charming boutonnières for our male comrades. Beyond the flowers, Lennie is an amazing lady to work with. Her dedication and heart, mixed in with lots of hard work, is always apparent. read more

I just took B-Side Farm's on-line class on growing ranunculus and have nothing but positive things to say.  Lennie Larkin is a great presenter and the information she shared I really needed.  I was not expecting little titbits like how she prices ranunculus and how it relates to gross profit.  The things I was expecting like how to pre-sprout and properly grow ranunculus were covered in great detail.  I was one of the lucky people to join her live Q&A and it was invaluable.  Lennie's depth of knowledge is relevant to both backyard enthusiasts and professional growers.  She also is very approachable and kind.  She actually offered some of her corms to people who missed the boat to order this year.  The big bonus for me is that I am in her growing zone so all the information on how she grows ranunculus didn't need to be adapted for my climate.  Also the cost of the class is low compared to other courses out there!  I can't wait to see what other courses she will offer! read more

Lennie is such a joy to work with, her designs are incredible, and she's not afraid of a challenge. I needed a bouquet to bring with me to Zion National Park in Utah for my destination wedding. I told her I always liked succulent bouquets. At that time she said she hadn't worked too much with them, but was excited to try. Well, I would never have known this was a newer thing for her. My bouquet was absolutely incredible, and was on nothing less than a professional level. There were succulents, air plants, cute tiny flowers and other bits of loveliness in there. Everything survived 5 days of traveling in a cooler, and not one piece was out of place. The best part is now I have a bunch of new plants that have more meaning to me than any other plant I've ever had. So yeah, if you're looking for a florist, you won't be disappointed here. read more

B-Side Farm - My wedding bouquet delivered before my 5 day journey to Zion NP in Utah. It was just a beautiful on my wedding day as it is here. - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Warren, Oregon

Lennie Larkin from B-side Farm is a flower GOD. My wife and I had an early summer wedding in Sonoma county, so we wanted wild, bountiful bouquets with lots of big colorful flowers. We went with Lennie because she grows most of her own flowers locally. She was fun to talk to and helped us figure out what we'd need well before the wedding. In total we ordered bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids, cocktail table arrangements, a centerpiece for the bar, dinner table accents, and ceremonial floral garlands. Lennie delivered the fresh flowers the morning of the wedding and set up the garlands and table decorations. The bar centerpiece was an urn overflowing with flowers. The whole thing looked vaguely grecian, very pink, and very classy. The bride and bridesmaids' bouquets were enormous, arranged in a way that looked wild and spontaneous and perfect. The flowers themselves stayed perky and alive through the day and actually looked good for days afterwards. Several guests said they were the best wedding flowers they'd ever seen. Incidentally, we found her prices reasonable given the amount of flowers we received and the artisanship put into each bouquet. If you want your wedding ceremony adorned with stunning, jubilant flowers and you'd prefer doing business with a consummate professional who grows her own stuff, go with Lennie Larkin and B-side Farm! read more

Lennie is a flower genius and a pleasure work with! She did all the flower arrangements for my wedding last week and did a fantastic job. The hall we rented for the occasion was very simple so we badly needed the flowers to lift the space, and they really did. I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked in and saw what Lennie and her assistant for the day had accomplished! She had listened to our wishes for the wedding, followed our guidelines, worked within our limited budget and somehow managed to put it all together in a way that exceeded all my expectations. Lennie also made me a beautiful flower crown, and a boutineer for my spouse that fit our outfits perfectly and will be sweet memories of the most amazing day of my life. Thank you so much, Lennie! read more

I connected with over 20 florists in the North Bay/SF area and the decision to go with Lennie was the easiest one I made throughout the entire wedding process. She is incredibly talented and understands her customers. If you're a bride/groom who has an idea of what you want in your mind but just can't put it into words, call Lennie. She will spend time with you on the phone, provide sample photos, and explain what's blooming. Not only were her florals/herbs absolutely STUNNING, I honestly wish I was a florist. It's an industry where passion is crucial and you will understand that sentiment when you connect with B-Side Farm. read more

Lennie's florist work in one word? WOW! Lennie was the florist at my best friend's wedding. My friend's bouquet (and my maid of honor bouquet!) were incredible. When I got engaged a few months later, I knew I needed Lennie as my florist! She was the first vendor I booked and I could not be happier with how my flowers turned out. Lennie has a unique eye for design and chooses the most beautiful flower and color combinations. I work on organic farms so I also loved that she grew a lot of the flowers herself. How amazing, a farmer AND a top notch designer? On my wedding day, I was most excited to see Lennie's work and I was not disappointed. She truly is incredible at her trade. I cannot recommend her enough. The easiest decision you can make is choosing Lennie & B-Side Flowers! read more

Lennie did the flowers for our wedding and they were stunning! So many guests asked who our florist was. Since we were married in a MA Horticultural Society garden, her arrangements did have "competition"! But they took first place. She perfectly captured our desired look and feel. The flowers were fresh, seasonal, but not the same old, same old. I highly recommend her. read more

B-Side Farm did the flowers for my baby shower, and even though it was in the off season they did an amazing job making the space feel like it was the middle of summer. My designer (Lennie) was easy to work with, and I really felt like she spoke my language. I explained that I didn't want something over the top and mawkish, and she knew exactly what I meant. She created a couple of centerpieces that felt luxurious without being gaudy. I had never worked with a florist before, and was nervous all the decisions would be overwhelming, but B-side made the whole process manageable and stress free. Highly recommend! read more

I'll start by saying that my now wife and I aren't really "flower people." We like flowers but don't know much about all the different types and how everything should come together. When it was time for us to find a florist for our wedding we didn't want anything too extravagant and we're budget conscious so we looked into farms that sell flowers versus florist shops. That's how we found Lennie and B-Side Farms and we're so glad we did! We met Lennie to go over ideas and what we were thinking for the bridal party, decorations, and family. Honestly, we didn't give her too much info besides our colors, succulents and wanting everything to look natural and simple. We really wanted her to pick what looked fresh for October when the wedding came around and what she thought looked nice. We can't even begin to describe how amazing of a job she did on EVERYTHING! We never thought we'd be the couple who would gush over our flowers at our wedding but we can't stop talking about them! Everything turned out gorgeous, and Lennie was amazing to work with! We were so lucky we found her and B-Side Farm and would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

B-Side Farm was the absolute best at our wedding. I had an initial consult with Lennie early in the wedding process and from the beginning is was just so fun and easy! A few highlights of working with Lennie/her flower team: 1. Her flowers are stunning. She really captured the spirit of the day with vibrant, rich, texture filled arrangements that were full of life. And Lennie grows a huge portion of her flowers at her farm in Sebastopol - truly unique and special to have local NorCal flowers in our ceremony. 2. She has such a wonderful calming presence. I worked closely with Lennie and my mom on the flowers and she was sweet, supportive, fun and and made the whole process simple and enjoyable. 3. She is very professional yet flexible. 4. She has such a great eye for color, texture, shape- she took my visions and elevated it to something truly incredible. Lennie and her team were one of my favorite vendors in the wedding planning process. I recommend B-Side Flowers for any wedding or flower projects wholeheartedly. I already have plans to attend some of her flower workshops at her farm because I had the best wedding experience. read more

Lennie did the flowers for my wedding as well as the wedding of a close friend of mine, both of which turned out amazing. Lennie is very passionate about what she does and cares a lot about her clients. She has a lot of great ideas but also listens to your vision and brings it to life. She's got a positive attitude and relaxed but upbeat vibe. The fact that she grows her own flowers speaks to her intimate knowledge of what will look best for you event based on what's in season. Would work with B-Side Farm again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Lennie! read more

This review is long overdue but so incredibly deserved. I found Lennie from B-Side Farms on Yelp and instantly fell in love with her immense talent and kind soul. To be honest, I didn't know how to research a florist for our wedding. I knew what I didn't want (tight orb-like bouquets, gaudy unnatural centerpieces, etc.) but had a hard time finding a florist who's website captured the type of look I was going for: a more natural, greenery heavy, almost undone look that complimented the beautiful setting of our wedding venue. Any doubts I may have had were immediately dashed when I spoke with Lennie on the phone and we talked through the overall vibe and feeling of my wedding. No other vendor I worked with took such an interest in understanding the deeper aesthetic I had envisioned and upon hanging up the phone, I knew that hiring Lennie would be one of the best wedding planning decisions I would make. She was incredibly flexible throughout the time leading up to the big day, checking in regularly and being so understanding when I would come to her with various changes, questions or requests. The day of, I never had the pleasure of actually meeting Lennie, but her designs more than spoke for themselves. I had so many people come up to me throughout the wedding just gushing over how beautiful everything was; from the bouquets to the centerpieces to the delicate greenery that she so beautifully affixed to the arbor my dad had built for the occasion. My bouquet itself was everything I had wanted yet completely unexpected at the same time, and I absolutely adored it! If you are looking for a florist who will truly listen to your vision and use her extreme talent to make it even better, then hire Lennie this instant! It is a decision I guarantee you won't regret and one that will ensure that your special day is as beautiful as you had always dreamed it would be :) read more

I have attended two of Lennie's classes at B-side farm. The first was about cut flowers and floral design and the second was on sowing seeds. I learned so much at both classes! The outcome was beautiful and perfect - and she even let us keep it in place until brunch on Sunday when it still looked fresh and very nice! Lennie stunned us with her creativity, flexibility, and responsiveness when creating the floral arrangements for our October farm wedding.
