Great food, great atmosphere. The pork chops are amazing! The homemade soups are my favorite. Salad is gigantic and fresh.

It is located in an easy to find area however the parking lot fills up pretty fast being that it's connected to a hotel. The restaurant was very clean inside and outside. All the staff was friendly from the hostess to the waitstaff was friendly. As far as s be beverages go, they definitely have something for everyone. They offer lot on tap, mixed drinks and mocktail/NA options which o always think is great. For the food, let's talk a bout the food!!!!! Those crab rangoon mozzarella sticks was a favorite for sure. They were a. Ice size, very crispy and the filling was top tier. Don't let me get started on that dipping sauce! 10/10 must try again. We also tried the loaded tater tots which were also delicious. For meals, we tried the bacon cheeseburger which was cooked to perfection but needed some seasoning. We also tried the fish tacos which were amazing. I would visit again.

The NA mojito was delicious. Food was expected for suburban pub fare but the menu having a vegetarian menu in a QR code was great for my friend. Fish and chips came with two very small pieces of cod. It was not worth the price point and did not have malt vinegar. The really appalling part of the visit was the raucously drunk businessmen at the end of the bar who were loudly bragging about putting their drunk friend into his jeep in front of the restaurant and letting him drive home. The men also took it upon themselves to touch my friend and I and get upset when we would not entertain his conversation and kept telling him to leave us alone and not touch women ever. The bartenders did nothing during this confrontation and continued to serve old fashioneds to these clearly inebriated men. Ambience? It's a suburban stand alone restaurant that looks like the granite counter section at a big box hardware store. There is a lot of potential for this place but we were sorely disappointed at the lack of care for safety for patrons and drivers.

Bar Down is otherwise in an unassuming location. Great place for watching games. The fathers can take their kids to go bowling and they can hang out in here pretending to be parenting and things. Bigger than the average bar. It's located next to Poplar Creek Bowling and there's a passageway between these. There's supposed to be no alcohol consumption over by the lanes but whatever. Has lots of great specials going on. It's got U Call It at happy hour, which is basically like choosing whatever liquor one wants. Has a few more great specials on food. It's $5 to get Pretzel Bites at happy hour. The rest of the menu has nachos and other things. Also they can host banquets. They have catering if having large groups or parties. For sure it's a place to hang out and have fun. It's located in the strip mall on Higgins. There's lots of great specials.

I love that there are always a few great ciders on tap or in cans too. Hubby tried the Chimay and also a Phase Three (P3) Amber. P3 always has some great IPAs or a Stout to try, but I really like the smoothies too. It is fun to sit at the bar and look at the many cans, bottles and drink options. Happy hour tater tots with beer cheese are a perfect shareable bite. We left before the night got too packed for Shenanigans and trivia. Always terrific and friendly service here. We love the pet friendly patio when it is warm outside, minus the cigarette buttes on the ground out back.

No patrons appeared annoyed/ angry... so he was keeping up fairly well. I would say that at 9pm when we arrived, it was fairly loud inside with the trivia going on. That's not my jam, but if it happens to be of interest, folks seemed like they were all having a blast. As soon as the trivia ended, there was a max exit from the establishment. There are a bunch of on tap and canned selections of different beers and a few wines and sangria on tap, as well. We didn't get any food, but there was reportedly a couple of kitchen staff working. I did see a platter of tots being brought out that looked good. Overall a great place to dive into for a good beer. It's in the same parking lot as Binnys.

The deal is half off apps, but if you enjoy an adult beverage, the house-brewed drafts are also half off. M-Th 3-6pm, dine-in only. At least that's what it is right now. I feel like it changes, so maybe call beforehand to confirm. I only got pics of the nachos this time, which really doesn't do it full justice because they're bigger than they look in the photo. Food is always good and consistent, there's nothing really to complain about regarding service or prices, and parking has always been really easy, though that could be because we typically go on Tuesdays. I imagine weekends could be a little bit busier, but the place is pretty big, so even if you have to wait, I don't think that you'd be waiting that long. The vibe is also casual and low-key.
