This shop rekindles that flame to write all the things in your beautiful handwriting. They have a good stock of pens, fountain or otherwise, of nearly most common makes and types. The friendly ladies out front even help you try them out in little notebooks. On top of writing instruments, they stock a variety of writing paper and journals. You can buy envelopes, recycle your printer cartridges, buy new inks, or even buy printers. They also sell bags and wallets for your commuting needs. I am really glad we still have mom-and-pop stores like this in the neighborhood. Even if you don't live nearby, I highly recommend visiting this store. Who knows, you might turn into a writer!

Some people say things are expensive there, but if you compare to some online stores in the Netherlands, it's the same price (at least for some calligraphy supplies; can't say about the rest). After making a special visit to this stationers to purchase some new pens, I was extremely…read moredisappointed to find out that I couldn't pay for them on a credit card as I had only spent €17! I was told for such a small amount I could only pay by cash or debit card. I didn't think that €17 was a small amount and I didn't want to use either! I was told it would cost them €3 for the transaction, which seems a ridiculously high charge from a credit card company. I'm here on vacation and have a good credit card that gives me the best rate of exchange and no fees, so I always use it for my travels. Sadly, they were happy for me to walk out with out spending anything or even considering returning for future purchases. I definitely won't be back.
