Emergency flashers on. Slowed down from 70. To 60 then 50. Tap the brake don't freak. It's ok. Hold on. Tap the brake again. Ease off the road. Keep it on the shoulder. Slow down. Slow down. Ok. Stopped. Put it in park. Breath. Dep Brest. Call 911. HELPPPPP!!!!!!! Body shaking. Fear rising. Louisiana states finest. On its way. Tire tool wrong size. Can't change the tire. Tow truck on way. Still shaking. Towed to the nastiest motel the baymont in Lafayette. Homeless haven. Check in. That was my night. The next morning. I called the hero's. Sweet man didn't mind my Cali gen at 7 am. Said they would get some one out with in the hour. And they did. The sweetest cutest young man by the name of Chance came to my rescue. He was up and under my truck seeing if he could get the spare down No such luck. But he brought me a tire. And watching him work with such professionalism and speed. Reminded me of my dad. Who weed tires. His hands were the hands of a hard working man. His entire deamor and manner was charm polite kind and empathetic. He gave me his card and said if I ever needed help no matter the time or day. To call. They would come to me. No matter where I was in the area. I felt as if I was finally safe and it reminded me of the service calls I used to go out on with my dad. And as a 60 year old female. That memory was worth the wait. Thank you. They were so very polite and did their best to help us, if our tire hadn't been ruined in our effort to get to a safe location we would have been fixed up in no time with Kratzer's help. Unfortunately they didn't have the exact sized tire we needed in stock, but gave us directions to a tire store a couple exits down the highway who would be able to help us out. I visited Addis Tire and Wheel Company four times within a month to have my tires patched due to screws on the jobsite and blow outs. Bryan even stayed late until after seven o'clock to help me out when I had my blowouts. Uncharacteristic of most businesses these days, but he and an employee stayed and got me back on the road. After such great service I returned to purchase a set of tires, which were great quality and great price. He had the tires mounted and ready to roll quickly. I recommend Addis Tire before you go to a bigger, higher priced shop. You'll not find the genuine people you'll meet at Addis tire at a big name tire retailer but you'll find the same great tires.
