The appointment was made almost 1 week in advance. I showed up on the day of the appointment at 7:15 A.M. (they open at 6:30 A.M.). After I reviewed what was to be done for my vehicle, I was told that they would give me a call. I waited (wasted!), all day waiting for that call! They close at 5 P.M. I gave them until 5:10 P.M. and called back. When I called back, I got a recorded message that they were closed!!! I drove there, tried the locked door, saw someone was still inside and I knocked. The guy who said he would call answered the door. At first he did not seem to recognize me. Then he started to apologize with the feeble excuse of how busy they were that day. (How is that my problem?) He said that the tires did not come in. Was the vehicle inspected I asked? No, nothing was done to it and it was parked out on the street! He offered me a "loaner." What, will you be loaning me my own, perfectly working vehicle? I drove my vehicle home and I will never return. What type of way is that to treat a customer and to run a business? He deservers ZERO stars!

We were driving on I-70 through Pennsylvania on a Saturday night when my car began acting funny. We decided to grab a hotel and let a mechanic look into it the next morning. Sac has towing 24/7, but the service department did not open till sunday noon. At 12:30p Kevin, a 20-year veteran mechanic, looked at my car and realized the serpentine belt was broken, and within 15 mins he had taken it all apart and found the problem - the belt tensioner broke, breaking the belt. Luckily their parts store had another belt tensioner and belt, and he fixed it in about an hour. The parts were expensive, but since I have a volkswagen I'm used to paying thru the nose. Besides the parts, they only charged us $50 for one hour of labor. Yay! After they fixed it we drove the next 2 hours to Washington DC with no problems - plenty of time to enjoy the Obama Inauguration events.

As a customer for the last five years, I'm surprised by the some of the bad reviews for this…read morebusiness. I have had nothing but good experiences with Liberty. It is a family owned and run business. They must be doing something right when there is a two week waiting period for work to be done. I have had them perform brake replacements, oil changes and inspections. The work has always been top notch with no issues. There was only one time I had a minor issue with an oil change. After the oil change, I noticed there was a small amount of oil leaking from my oil pan. I brought the car back to them and they found that the oil drain plug washer had a split in it. They promptly replaced the washer and any lost oil at no charge. They stood behind their work and admitted the mistake. That's the kind of service and company I want to do business with. While their prices may not be the cheapest, they certainly are not the highest. I have found their prices to be fair and reasonable. The work and parts are of excellent quality. I recently purchased a gift card from Liberty for my son because he needed new tires for his pick up truck. He told me that Liberty's tire prices were hundreds of dollars cheaper than a shop he had been using previously. The shop has six car bays for repairs. They not only sell tires, but they perform many types of auto repais, including A/C repairs, engine repairs, brakes, exhaust, electrical/wiring, etc. Their is a samall waiting area if you want to wait for your vehicle. They have a large parking lot to hold plenty of vehicles. They also offer to loan you a car when available if needed, to allow customers to use it if needed to get to work or home. I don't know of other repair shops that offer that kind of service. If you can't bring the car to the shop the day of repairs, you can drop if off the evening/night before and drop your key into an envelope and key box with instructions of what needs to be done. I wholeheartedly and easily recommend this business.

They attempted to pull his Penske truck out but, their tow truck started to roll backwards and hit my son's rental truck. His fiancé was injured and so was their dog. They used intimidation to charge my son $416.00 after wrecking into the front of their truck and hurting them. My son just finished serving 8 years in the Army, and he was moving from his base at Fort Meade. When I tried to talk with one of the owner's Allen, He was extremely rude to me too. He laughed at the fact that I was upset. To prove that this company is the worst, an old man and his truck stopped to help my son. He was a Veteran too. He hooked a rusty old chain to the truck and pulled my son and his family to safety. Thank God for this man. As far as I'm concerned Fischer's Garage is the WORST TOWING COMPANY EVER!!
