My 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 recently failed a State Inspection conducted by the dealership for two broken exhaust manifold bolts. I checked with my local Firestone to see if they could to do the work to save some money, but they recommended B&R Customs. I called them and they gave me a reasonable estimate over the phone, estimating on the high in case the bolts ended up being difficult to remove. However, as luck would have it, the bolts came out pretty easily, so they actually adjusted the original estimate, which lowered the total price a bit...now, that was just awesome and greatly appreciated! It's not often that you find that level of integrity in this industry, so they definitely have secured my future patronage. Absolute joke! Stopped by, told them exactly what I needed to have done, no problem, can do, made an appointment. Took a day off, came in, gave the key, they took the car in. 2 minutes later, they come back: "Can't do it... My new welding equipment can't get there..." and they drive the car off the shop. Now my comment to whomever it was "Aren't you a custom exhaust shop?"... "Yeah..." "So why can't you do this simple exhaust/resonator?" "Can't do it..." Turns around and just walks off. Thank you for wasting my time, I took a day off for these jokes... I know why they could't do, too lazy to remove 4 bolts from the exhaust so they can drop it off and do it off the car, that's why! Wants to take a short cut, simple as that. If I wanted to have stock exhaust replacement, I would have taken it to Midas or alike! Custom exhaust shop, please! Never again, and certainly would recommend for all to avoid this shop! read more

Do not do business with this con artist, went in to have an exhaust made after installing headers on our '76 TA and could not be more disappointed with both the work and the way we were treated... For some background, after installing headers we asked him to make us an exhaust. We asked for loud as it could be ( we even asked to have it be / sound straight piped it because that's how loud we wanted ) because it is a fun weekend car to which he said he would do. A week later when it was finished all of this is what we came back to. Upon pick up it had exhaust leaks loud enough to sound like a farm truck, lose pipping, the car was disgustingly dirty and worst of all it was quieter than before we installed headers. And the best part? They said for another couple hundred dollars they would finish the job we already paid them to do. We then went back the same day after a short test drive, explained directly to the owner there were leaks and loose sections and asked him to honor his work and finish the car he LAUGHED in my face. He told me if I didn't like it that was my own problem because his work was "perfect" and he's being doing it "forever". If that's not enough, here are some more reasons why not to go there: 1. They tried charging me 1.5x ($300 or so more ) the quote that they gave me when It was dropped off. After some conversation they would "settle" for $50 over my given quote. 2. They forced "loud high performance" mufflers on us saying we "had to have them", that we would be stupid not to, and to "trust him, it would sound super nice and loud as hell like you want". You can guess how this went. It went in with a catback and came out with headers and a full exhaust and was about half as loud as it was before hand. He basically lied to up sell us on a product that we by no means need so he could pocket more money. He even said he heard it start and thought it was kind of quiet, but that "it's what we wanted". 3. They never answer your calls once you pay them, so be very careful about this. 4. His welds aren't that good, my mechanic who ended up repairing this exhaust for us did a wayyyyy cleaner job than he did. 4. The car like I said earlier was disgusting when I got it back, it looked like he took it rally racing through a dusty western town. Took me and a buddy and hour to take it from a spotty brown to pearl white again. 5. After he laughed at the loose connections, exhaust leaks and all he said he would fix it for another $100 dollars the following week because "it wasn't his problem that I didn't like his work". Please keep in mind this was within the same day we got the car back. 6. He kept getting angry and walking away during conversation leaving his girl at the front desk to assume what he wanted to tell me. Don't get me wrong his receptionist is a sweet lady but he is something else. I have no problems with her as she was calm cool and collected with me the entire exchange and gave me the same level of respect I gave her. She gets 5 stars as a person, he gets 0 and unfortunately as this is his business, the business gets 0 as well. All and all my mechanic who referred us to him took the car back and once he couldn't convince this shop otherwise, swore off sending cars there and took it upon himself to fix our exhaust to which I am super grateful for( His name is Mike from Cambridge Auto by the way, super nice guy if you ever need any good honest work done ). It now sounds much better and we are more than happy with the car again no thanks to this place. read more

Awesome!!!!! Took my Jeep there to have the exhaust looked at and they made some modifications to improve the hanger on the rear which required some welding. The work took about 45 minutes and they would not let me pay them, just asked that I come back when I needed some work done. An outstanding place that cares about what they do.
