When I initially contacted Sam one of them was on the verge of caving in, and now I have complete peace of mind. The crew was professional and knowledgeable and did excellent work for a very fair price. I was very happy with both the quality of work and the time frame in which they were able to complete the work. The crew got everything done while I was at work myself and was extremely mindful and respectful of my home, treating it as if it was theirs, and cleaned everything beautifully when the job was completed. They replaced two ceilings and now I wish they had done all of my ceilings to begin with! I would recommend Sam's painting and drywall to anyone who wants good work done! Pam and Ron and the crew at Double D's were absolutely fantastic. To start, Pam always answers your…read morephone calls and your texts. Some of the other moving companies I contacted never returned my voicemail. We got my move scheduled a few weeks before it was to happen. This was very easy with me discussing the details with Pam as well as texting her photos of the rooms and larger items. There were some blips in the delivery of the Pod and I am so grateful that Pam was able to reschedule with such short notice. Our move was a bit more complex. Double D's had to meet us at a location in Camp Hill to pick up a truck full of furniture. This was brought to our Harrisburg home. And then this as well as everything in our house was loaded into a 16 foot pod. Part of the reason I picked double D's was because of their glowing reviews and their ability to load a POD very tight. They exceeded expectations and used every bit of the pod from floor to ceiling. (A 16 foot POD is for a house up to 1400 ft.². This of course doesn't include your basement, attic, and garage.) They did an amazing job! We had a few items that did not fit and we expected this because a 16" pod is not as big as you expect it to be. (No big deal because we will drive them at another date to our new location.) They then drove these items back to the Camp Hill address where we could store them. The price was very fair. I can't say enough good things about this group.

On the day of the meeting, Josh called to let me know he could come a little earlier if that worked for me which it did. Josh arrived at the new earlier time along with his father. Both men were friendly and straight forward. Josh explained his pricing and we discussed details. He offered to trim the bushes which I thought was a good idea. So we agreed that he'd complete the job the following Monday. On Monday morning, Josh called to let me know that he wouldn't be able to make it Monday but would be out Tuesday. No big deal and i definitely appreciated the timely and direct communication. Very important. The job was done well and pricing fell within the estimate range. Josh charges by the hour so he estimated 2-4 hours and it wound up being 3. I'll definitely call Josh next year for leaf removal and fall cleanup. I'd also recommend him to anyone looking for similar services.
