I can't say anything good about this company, which also goes by the name "Do It Best", which definitely does NOT describe how this business works. B&D serves a large rural community, I live 30 minutes from them. On one occasion I called to ask if they had a certain product and how many they had in stock - they assured me that they had that product and they had several on hand, so I drove 30 minutes into Douglas to pick the items up. The way this place works is you pay for the items at the store and then drive 3 blocks away to pick up the items at the warehouse - so, I paid the cashier and got my pick up ticket, drove to the warehouse and presented my pick up ticked. The warehouse worker took one look at the ticked & told me he had told the storefront 3 times that morning alone that they were out of this item and had no idea when they would be back in stock. The worker then went on a tie-raid about the B&D, finally I left, drove back to the storefront and asked for a refund. To which the cashier told me I was being unreasonable to want my money back and when I told her I had called that morning and been assured they had plenty in stock. She told me I was being rude, cussed at me in Spanish and still didn't want to refund my money. I told her I wasn't leaving without my refund and I felt I was owed an apology for her attitude, to which she told me "If you want an apology you have to speak to the management". There was an older gentleman behind me in line who was trying to get a refund also, he said this business is always horrible like this and he would be driving the extra 20 minutes to get to the Home Depot. I did finally get a refund, but I didn't talk to the management, so I didn't get an apology. I went to B&D because it's a locally owned business & I wanted to put my money back into the community - but I will NEVER... EVER...EVER shop here again. I'll give my money to Home Depot & Lowe's. As a side note this B&D is owned by the same people that own the B&D in Bisbee. Stay Away! read more
